Go for beer, not for food

Yes the beer selection is huge and one can find a variety of mainstream beers; however, hard to find beers are hard to find here as well. The food was below average and plastic. Will not return.

They ID you @ any age. I am in early forties and bar tender had trouble reading my TX. driver?s lic. The tall male blonde headed bar tender is unprofessional. Pass on the place and go to other bar as many others have stated. I needed ?Torrents Guy? order my drink.

Terrible service to go along with the great selection of beer.

The restaurant has a wide variety of drinks, however, the service reminds me of a bunch of high school kids hanging out and getting paid to socialize among themselves. Very disorganized wait staff and no management around to control chaos.Only place to be is right at the bar where you can at least flag a bartender.

Best Beer options

Its my most favorite beer place, I had been there twice and love their beer selection, they give a good competition to Barney's, our waiter Jennifer Val was considerate,service was quick not only we were suggested some some great beers,but we got the fries returned and replaced with onion rings as they werer not great, for tryng beers they have a six pack sample of almost 100 ml each which is lil costly $10 but i fun way to go beer tasting, they have some great appetizers, which are better for ahhpy hours which i remember is sun-wed 10-12, that also makes it a good place to try at night.

Great place for group dining, but on weekends its crowded and waiting is min. 1 hr but by then enjoy some cool beers standing or hang out in Paseo Colorado, finding a parking may be tough esp street parking

Beer selection can't be beat

This place has a great beer selection and can't be beat happy hour prices on appetizers and drinks. The food is delicious, and the servers working during happy hour are fun and provide great service. I don't love it for dinner as service is slower and they turn up the music too loud, but it's perfect for happy hour. Get there early as the booths and bar seats fill up fast and it's not fun to stand awkwardly around the bar.

This is a good spot for drinks!!!

Their pomegranate martinis are so good. My girls and I like to go here for those. I also like the peppered steak and their souffle. It could get super loud at times so you have to yell accross the table. I recommend getting a booth. I usually go here for girls night out.

Overall, this place is OK. Their food's actually really great, although my family found it kind of oily. (Try getting their Vodka Shrimp Pasta, it's my favorite). Their service were slow but it's a big restaurant and usually very packed so it's nothing you won't expect. Making reservaitons are better but even if you don't, the waiting isn't too long. And you can waste time easily by shopping around since it's at old pasadena mall. The price is affordable & it's a good experience for drinking beer from a very long glass cup. Outdoor's also available.

WORST SERVICE EVER

this place is terrible i have never had such a crappy experience in a restaurant. first the host tried to seat me and my husband by the bar next to a bunch of college kids. then we waited an hour for our food the waiter was rude and unattentive. i watched him check on the tables next to us several times before he would check on us.. this was a terrible experience i will never walk into another yard house and i will make sure all of my friends family and coworkers know to never waste their time or money on this pitful restaurant.

Decent food, EXCELLENT beer!!

With 3-foot-long glasses of beer, one wouldn't assume that the Yard House would have much in the way of quality. Quite the contrary, their food was excellent (their chicken salad was shockingly good) and their Pear Ale was delicious!

Don't go here unless you have time to wait.. and wait... and wait

This place has the slowest service I have EVER been to. I had called in to place my order ahead, before I left for my lunch hour. (*note it takes me about 10-15 mins to get to this place) When I arrived, they advised me my order was almost ready. Funny thing is, when I arrived two ladies were fuming and left because they were angry that they had been sitting at the table for about 30 minutes and no one had offered them anything to drink... not even water. Since it was lunch time... I was expecting about a 10 minute wait, which I was fine with. Then 15 minutes of waiting had passed, I asked the hostess for the status of my order. Since she is the hostess, she couldn't leave her spot. So she asked a waitress to find out the status of my order. The snotty woman didn't even seem like she was going to find out.. whenever the hostess would ask, she would just say... "its almost ready" on the spot without checking. So now 25 minutes had passed, I asked for the status of my order again. Their response.. "its almost ready". So after 30 long minutes of standing there waiting... I finally asked for a refund. Lol... when I asked for the refund.. guess what the waitress does... she now actually goes to the back... and 1 minute later... hands me my order. What lousy service. I mean... do you actually have to threaten them to leave before they actually check on your order. By this time, I was already fuming because they had made me wait for so long. The manager that was there asked me if I still wanted my order, I advised him NO and that I wanted my refund. The manager didn't even offer to compensate in ANY WAY at all for my wait. Like "Oh, I'm sorry for the wait, but here's a free ..... or your next meal is on us" NOTHING... so he handed me my money and I went to Islands instead. What a waste of my time! I mean a total of 40-45 minutes to get one order out is ridiculous!
