This is the Worst Gym I ever been a member of...
by powermn8
This is simply the worst gym experience I have ever had. The machines are generally broken and/or in disrepair. The locker room is filthy and one of the showers is broken. It's over-crowded. There is little to no maintenance. Go elsewhere. It's not worth the money. At all.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Filthy, poorly maintained, indifferent staff, broken equip.
DIRTY! DIRTY! DIRTY!
by MGX
THIS IS A FILTHY PLACE TO WORKOUT AND MOST OF THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY RUDE! A LOT OF THE EQUIPMENT UPSTAIRS IS BROKE OR IS DAMAGED! VERY OVERCROWDED! WASTE OF MONEY!
- Pros: Its open 24 hours Mon-Thurs...
- Cons: DIRTY! CROWDED! RUDE! FLITHY!
Full-service gym offers weights, cardio equipment, sauna, steam room, classes and personal training, open for most hours of the day.

In Short
With classes ranging from 24 Hour Tease, a sexy strip aerobic class, to the more subdued Vinyasa flow yoga and butt-kickin' boot camp, this active sports club is packed with health conscious (and some insomniac) gym goers. Stocked with the latest cardio and weight-training equipment, this gym cranks up the pumping music, flicks on the Plasma TV sets, and lets fitness fanatics work out according to their own schedule. With affordable rates and a friendly, knowledgeable staff, personal training is another tangible get-fit option. And while the moniker is somewhat misleading, on most days the door is open for at least nineteen hours--not too shabby.
Worst. 24 Hour Fitness. Ever.
by tonystarksgirl
The benches in the locker room are not bolted to the ground. There is hair always clogging the drains. The water pressure in 3 of showers is weak. One doesn't have a door. You have to pay for parking. The staff member gave me mean look because I did not look like a supermodel. Don't go here ever.
- Pros: nothing
- Cons: paid parking, filthy, broken, attitude problem
Just try to get into a class
by Arguitos
At first I thought it was perhaps just the post-New Year's resolution types flocking to the gym in a feeble attempt to keep promises they'd never stick to. Try as I might, I just couldn't get into an after-work spinning class. But no. It was just 24 Hour stuffing still more members into an already overcrowded gym. The sign-up sheet is placed out an hour before class time, and seems to fill up 15 minutes later. Since classes are few and far between (unlike at Gold's Hollywood, where they offer several back to back), if you miss one, you're out of luck.
The gym itself is beautiful for a 24 Hour Fitness, but it suffers from the chain's usual woes: unracked weights, rundown equipment, and then there's the showers. One word: ugh. Drains are clogged almost everytime I go with clumped pubic hair, bandaids, and even used disposable razors. Bring your flipflops!
- Pros: Location, view
- Cons: Disinterested staff, crowds, filth, crowds, rundown equipment, crowds, FILTH!
Arclight Mega Structure Convenience, Great Gym
by dcracing
Surrounded by a conglomerate of everything. Small "Hollywood Citywalk". Great Gym, Great Staff, Celebrity Sitings. Good classes.
No free parking
- Pros: Great gym, Central Location, Equipment
- Cons: Paid-parking, Packed crowds
the boiler room
by cycleman72
great big gym. if you're a self-trainer you'll do fine.
problem is they spend all their time pressuring new people to get into memberships, a real boiler room mentality, and no time/money on maintaining equipment and facilities.
Ask them about the pool. I've been a member for two years and it still is not filled with water. They told me then it would be fixed in two months, two years ago.
great value for a great workout

it's not the sports club but it is great value for what you pay for! Same equipment, great classes!
Good Equipment - Poor Service
by t_dicenzo
This facility, when it's open, has great equipment. It's still relatively new and the equipment is still in great shape. Unfortunately, when something breaks it can stay broken for quite a while.
Service is sub-standard and they find reasons to close the facility a little too frequently for anyone who is serious about working out consistently. Staff is generally apathetic.
- Pros: good Equipment, Generally Clean, Convenient location
- Cons: Closed too much, Apathetic Staff, Broken stays broken
