not sure anymore...

not sure what i think of this place anymore. i think i need to pull my kid out. the director seems like she's hiding something. my kid just doesn't seem happy there anymore. my kid doesn't seem to be learning very much either.

I love Lil' Folks!

I read on and on all these comments about the new Director Lynn Marroquin. Can I just say she has done alot for this school. She has worked really hard in making this place a safe, loving enviroment for both you and your children. Before Lynn came on board all I heard about this school was negative. Violation after violation. Now that Lynn is there the Licensing Codes that should have been implemented before are being put to use. Please get your facts straight before you start throwing out accusations!

I fully trust Lil' Folks with my children. The teachers are loveing and you can see they truely care about our children. We are always greeted with a HUGE smile, a HELLO. As for the lack of a "warm enviroment'? I would have to completely disagre with that. The place before had a cold damp, feel to it. Yes Lynn did add decorations, and that does make a difference! If you paid attention to the reactions of the children when they see these changes they love it!

Rather than sitting here and gossiping online, why not speak with Lynn really get to know her. If you have concerns voice them. You will be very suprised to learn how open she is to suggestions. How will she ever know how you feel unless you speak with her?

I would recomend this school to anyone who is looking for a WARM, LOVING enviroment.

Will Be a Better School Without Justine

Lynn is not to be trust? How can we trust what you say when you can't even spell?! I agree that the staff is really nice... except for Justine... She needs to go! She makes up lies on the internet and spreads gossip at work. She even spends her free time showing everyone her funny little comment online... Oh wow you really won that one!! Maybe a few grammar lessons would make you less of an idiot... but I doubt that.

Such a Great School

There have been so many improvements to the school and I am very pleased with them. My children are happy and they love coming to Lil Folks. Lynn is doing a great job and has been working very hard on the school. I have only had a positive experience with the school. And it keeps getting better. It is a great price and a great place to put your little ones.

I would have to agree with iluvmykidz, lynn is not to be trust. she lies to parents, makes up policies,when she talks to you she always has an attitude, she says mean things to the kids like always threatening to call their parents, she only cares about the money and not the kids, and she has made the staffing inconsistant in classes which is making the children confused and unhappy. yes she may make lil' folks look good with little decorations, but i am considering pulling my child out because she made this school worse. this school use to have a warm environment and now its just cold with her around. What happened to susanne? did she just hand over the keys without even finding out who this woman is or did lynn manipulate her way into the school like she does everything else.

Lynn is absolutely to be trusted!

I am appalled by the lies and made up stories that are occurring on this page. Really parent? Do you have to go that much out of your way to try and ruin someones career? I had my children at Kindercare and when I found out that Lynn left to run another preschool, I decided to switch to Lil Folks. Lynn is the best director I have ever come in contact with. She always went out of her way and was very friendly to everyone. She is very professional and has always been there for my family. I heard from the staff that she ran that school and was number one in her district. If that isn't an awesome director... I dont know what is. But I guess there are always going to be people who are jealous of another person's success. Kindercare suffered a great loss when Lynn left and now Lil folks is better than it ever was. It's the parents that can ruin a good school like this. What a shame...

You say you love your kids but you expect the staff to raise your kids! But guess what?! That's your job mother!! I am aware that there is an OCD control freaks from Kindercare who did not agree with how she did things. But what she did, she did by the book, and she was pretty darn awesome about it.

I am pretty sure I know that this is Danni Maurizio from Kindercare who wrote this comment. You have been out to get Lynn since I can remember enrolling my children at Kindercare. You are a vicious and manipulative parent and your behavior disgusts me! It's such a shame that you get satisfaction out of making up lies and attempting to sabotage such an amazing director. You are nothing but trash and a bad parent. Danni we all know that you are a cheap skate. So get over it already and stop using your nagging to get by in life to save a pretty penny. When your child is out of school you need to pay for child care! So quit your nagging, if you can't afford it... then stay home! And stop asking for play dates from us parents cause we know you just want free child care. Complaining may get you some free stuff in life... But everyone is pretty sick with it already. Everyone knows you are suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder and that you have only child syndrome. You are a control freak that freaks out over a tiny RSVP to a party. So grow up already and be glad that people even attend. I feel so badly for your poor children. They are the only reason we attend. It even gets old when you give us a list of stuff to give your children for their birthday. How controlling is that!!!??? I think it is time that you put your energy towards your kids. All of us parents are sick of hearing you freak out over your child's homework not being done and expecting everyone else to do the parenting. Maybe you should stop pushing your husband out the door and learn to not be such an aggressive lady that can't even pick up her children with a smile. How about you drop the leash you try to have around everyones neck and learn to shut your mouth like a lady. I don't even have to guess that this is you Danni and since Lynn isn't here to see the lies you spread... I'm glad to set the record straight.

Lynn is not to be trusted

Under new directorship by Susanne Foulk? I heard Lynn Maroquinn, former directress from KinderCare La Verne, was the director and 50-percent partner over there now? I wouldn't trust her with my kids without the overview of a corporation. She was barely to be trusted at KinderCare. And now that she is gone, wow has the truth come out. She lied and cheated her way through the place. It's amazing she wasn't fired a long time ago. She made up her own policies as she went, always blaming them on "corporate policies." She regularly tried to overcharge people, stated that they were not paying enough each week. I can only guess what she did with the money. She falsified documents and blamed it on others, causing them to be fired. All the time thinking she was above it all. Then she mysteriously vanished and started working at this place.

On August 6, 2007 I needed to drop off my son at this facility at 6:30am. I had to be to work in Ontario at 7am. The doors were not opened on time. Finally the lady opened the door and yelled at me infront of my son, " if you knock like that agian I will call the police." Now my son was scared to go back because he felt like they were going to send me to jail. That afternoon the director came to me and told me I was two weeks behind. I didn't understand why. So she gave me the dates so I could look over my records. On August 7, 2007 When I went to drop off my son the lady in the morning stopped me and said, "excuse me, my cousin, the director told me you said the girl in the morning hates you!" She said this infront of parents and my son in the morning agian. I told her," I never said that, what the director may have said is that we got off on the wrong foot, but I need to go, I have to go to work." Again later that moring when I was at work I called the director and told her I did not apprecitate her cousin getting in my face like that for the second time in front of my son and other parents. She said she would talk to her. On 8-9-07 my son's father went to pick him up and the director asked him if he and I share financial responsibility, after I have told her this before on many occasions, he said no. She goes on saying how I owe her three weeks and I have wrote her checks that have bounced, not true! What I am upset about... none of this is none of his bussines. The last converstaion the director and I had she said I should look for another school. I said fine. But now she is saying I owe her two weeks of payments for the two week notice-why should I give her a notice, she told me to leave! The other two weeks she says I owe is 1 week I was on vacation July 9-13 2007. Policy gives me 1 week free for vacation. The next week after I was out of work sick,an honest mistake. I had to put my son in a new school- inconvience.More cost!
