Nice booths, dark lighting, Anime movies playing all over - hip trendy atmosphere but REALLY SMALL PORTIONS. Hirami/Halibut Carpaccio is TEEENY TINY! and costs $15 - thought i was receiving an amouse bouche instead of an appetizer. Same goes for the Albacore "Salad" - there is no green leaf in sight, just a tickle of 4 tiny albacore slices with a teency bed of japanese cucumber. it is however, served on a bed of ice, which made me realize that presentation will be above actual nourishment at this place. I was under impressed by the dragon and spider roll. Go for the other more special rolls instead. I do recommend the baked crab roll - another whopping $15 for ONE handroll, but tasty, and their sushi wine from spain was good. Yet with soooooo many much better sushi places in L.A, this one can be skipped - unless you just love spending over $100 on a dinner for two, where you end up still hungry.
