Great Colorist

Victor and I met through unhappy circumstances. Another stylist had turned my hair grayish green! Not only that, but it was brand new hair about six months old from chemotherapy treatments. I went in wearing my wig and Victor made me feel extremely comfortable right away. He then went to work correcting the color like the true professional he is. Today my hair color is absolutely beautiful. Not only did he restore my color -he restored my confidence. I whole heartedly recommend Victor for all your beauty needs.

Hands down the best hair cut i have ever had!

This by far is the best hair cut I have ever had. When you are a guy and you get your hair cut, you pretty much can only wear it one way. But not with Victor. He made it passable for me to have it conservative when needed and edgy when wanted.

Victor puts time and energy in to his work. He also understands the needs and wants of his clients. And that is why he is the best.

Best stylist ever

Victor is amazing. My hair has never looked so healthy nor so "now" ...I feel so good when I am asked (frequently) who colored/styled my hair. From the minute you walk in Victor gives you personal attention, you are not passed off to anyone.... You leave your appointment feeling like you not only have had an amazing hair experience ...but feel as good as if you have just had a wonderful massage...relaxed and refreshed. The best ever and I am a forever-Victor client!

• Cons: I drive over an hour to see Victor....but would drive even further!

Brilliant Colorist! I would not trust anyone else. Ever.

I moved to LA in 2001 and have been a loyal follower of Victor's ever since. He's wildly talented with color. His cuts are elegant and timeless. He listens and incorporates his skills to make me happy every time. You will not be disappointed.

Great Experience!-Great Hair!

I've had a hard time finding someone to cut my hair and address my concerns. I came across Victor Hugo Hair through citysearch and was convinced to make an appointment after reading so many excellent reviews. My experience was very similar to those described in citysearch: it was fantastic. My hair was a mess. I walked into Victor's salon with a bad hair cut and color. My hair was also extremely dry. I was concerned about adding color to my overprocessed hair and having to resort to cutting the length to improve its condition. I was truly amazed to see how Victor transformed my hair without risking its lenght. I was even more shocked to see how the color correction had improved the look and feel of my hair. Victor is very talented. He is very confident in what he does and his confidence helped me be at ease. I felt very comfortable but more importantly I felt very hopeful that my hair was going to look better. Victor also enlightened me with his knowledge in hair care and provided some really good tips. I have put his advice into practice and my hair's condition and look has been so much better. I will definitely be seeking his services again.

Very talented and knowledgeable!

Victor did a great job with my hair! I originally came to him with a ridiculous amount of damage and breakage. I've been to him three times now and I can't believe the improvement! Every time I leave his salon my hair looks and feels so much healthier!

He's incredibly knowledgeable and very good at recommending products to get your hair in the condition you've always wanted.

I've also never been to a stylist who CARES so much. He makes the extra effort in every aspect to get you what you want and with as little damage as possible. He's also very supportive and positive. And unlike most stylists he does what YOU want. I love my cut and color!

Very Accommodating

Victor did an awesome job. In 15 seconds of assessing my sitch'ation, he determined exactly what style of hair I had and what he would need to do to give me the best look. I was truly impressed. He also was extremely accommodating -- he came in a half hour early just to see me. I highly recommend this salon.

• Cons: Not sure how much capacity the salon has since Victor appears to be a one-man-show

Just go!

Victor is really good at highlighting! The way he did my color was totally different what I ever had. Very interesting experience. I just like it, like the color a lot. What's also nice is that he is punctual. So you don't have wait at all. Highly recommend!

Best Cut and Color in a Relaxing No-pressure Environment

I would absolutely recommend Victor to anyone and everyone, without any reservations. He gave me the best cut and color I've ever had, in a relaxing no-pressure salon. Victor is warm, very professional, and listened closely to what I told him I wanted. If you're looking for a posh, polished, and expert cut without the Beverly Hills salon attitude, go see Victor - you'll thank yourself and wonder why you didn't see him sooner!

• Cons: Parking and traffic around this area can be difficult at times.

87 five star reviews all of a similar sound. come on. nothing gets such positive reviews unless they're all written by the same person. every single reviewer has never reviewed anything else. avoid this place just because of their internet scamming - an absolute disgrace.
