Be aware, it was my favourite until now !!!

Target sucks! I bought the digital camera and bunch of other items at target store in Hollywood (la brea/santa monica) on black Friday. The camera I bought was not taking good pictures, all blurry, no focus at all, it was Nikon S203. Anyways, I returned the item to the store and got refunded $81.80+tax, where as I was supposed to be refunded $88+tax. They said it was a promotional discount that was applied at the time of purchase, right. I don't think so!!! The original amount of total purchase was $141.49, and they did promotional discount of $10, which is now $131.49. I got taxed on $131.49 (9.75%)=12.82.
At the end, they added tax $12.80 to the $141.49 = $154.31.
This is not about money, I wish I could just give that money to a homeless person instead. It's just about principle. I realized that they fooled me at the store, saying that I got refunded with the promotional discount subtracted. It is so frustrating that they fool you like this. I wish I had realized that at the store.
Sorry for my English!
- Pros: Good selection
- Cons: not a friendly staff
With its low prices and huge selection, this is truly a one-stop-shopping mecca.

In Short
Red-shirted salespeople guide shoppers through the bright, well organized stores. From housewares to lawn care, Target stores are always clean and welcoming. And with clothing lines by Mossimo and Isaac Mizrahi and housewares designed by noted architect Michael Graves, it satisfies budget-conscious college students and as well as young families.
what a fantastic store

Massive new discount shopping, WeHo style

This Target in the new facilities at LaBrea and Santa Monica is amazingly large for a dense city location. Parking can be annoying down in the deck, so grab a street spot if you see one. Inside, the selection is what you would expect from this brand. There's a zillion lines, so it doesn't take long to get through the checkout. Toiletries and furniture are my typical purchasing pattern. But I like the greeting card section and office supplies as well. The joke among West Hollywood residents is that this place is the Tar-gay, making of play off the sometimes joking pronunciation of Target as Tar-jay (like it's French). Anyway, that joke name rings true, as this is the discount store of choice among the gay elite of WeHo. Go for some laundry detergent, leave with a Friday-night date.
- Pros: The Gay Target
- Cons: Parking is annoying
Stupid people!

I needed a particular item........I called and spoke to a woman (who could barely speak English or Spanglish)...and she assured me with some difficulty understanding my English...... that the toddler girls item was there and they had plenty of them so she would not hold it for me. I do not live close to this Target and traveled there.......when I got into the store and spoke to the woman........she did not know what I was talking about. and did not even have one of the items I had asked her about on the phone....I was very upset...THAT IS WHY I CALLED FIRST!!....THE PEOPLE THAT TARGET HIRES (IN THIS STORE) ARE VERY STUPID AND probably ILLEGALS. I have given up calling and asking any questions.........they do not understand English. Am I living in America????
TARGET GET WITH IT. Pay your people better or hire employees that speak and understand English!!!!!
