I relied on past reviews for Joe's Smog Check and found them to be accurate - professional and fast service. There was a short wait when I arrived but once I was in, I was done in ten minutes flat. Be sure to take advantage of his online coupon to get the best rate.

Joe is Awesome!! Best Smog Test in the City

I mapped Joe' s Smog Check today and drove to his shop. Now, don't expect nice leather seats, with drinks and a cozy room. Joe ' s Smog Check is a small garage in North Hollywood just North of the 134 freeway. The main point is he did the job and he did it right! A+++

When I drove there, Joe (yes he is the owner) came out to my car and asked for my name. He already had a car in the garage but he asked me to come back in about 1/2 hour. It was lunch time, so I went to the local McDs 5 minutes away to pass the time.

I return to Joe's and within seconds, it was my turn and I was in and out in 20 minutes flat!!

I have smogged my car throughout the city and I have to say Joe is A NUMBER ONE!

Why?

1. Excellent Customer Service - He acknowledges his customers immediately (you're not just waiting and waiting - he WILL come out to your car to say hi and take your name.)

2. Small facility but clean and it's a smog test folks but there are some chairs to sit down with magazines and a TV to pass the time.

3. Low, Low, LOW price!!! Go to his website and print out a coupon before you go.

You know, I hate smog checks as well as most people do too. But Joe really makes this process easy and to the point. Kind of like seeing your dentist for your 6 month cleaning - you get on the chair, he cleans you, gives you some advice and BOOM you're outta there!!

Joe rocks you like a hurricane.

Stopped in today. Joe is the MAN. Was there for maybe 15 minutes. Great service and very nice guy. Make sure to take the coupon in from his website for a $32 dollar smog. Best price in town.

GREAT SMOG CHECK

Hi

I have never had a Smog check, just having moved to Cali. This guy (Joe) was super polite, very nice and more than willing to explain the process to me without making me feel dumb about it. The place was clean and i got to sit down and read some magazines will my car was taken in, there was even a TV to watch! I was in and out in 15 minutes and it was DIRT CHEAP compared to everyone else. Definetly worth the drive for both price and professionalism. Definetly going again next time!

Quick, professional and courteous service at Joe's

I went to Joe's to get the biennial smog check for my car. The shop is very clean and not cluttered with all the usual stuff. They explained everything to me and got me in and out in 15 minutes. Very professional service, all around excellent. 5 stars.

I based my choice to go to Joe's by reading reviews here (make sure you sift through the ones that are obviously written by the business,) price, and attitudes over the phone.

Get their coupon on their website for an even better deal. Super nice and no BS ? you'll be in and out in 15 mins.

Great Service, great atmosphere

Just wanted to pass this on, Joe's Smog Check is worth a bit of an extra drive for the speed of service (mine was done in 10mins, but makes sense to call ahead to see if he is busy), and the shop is very clean and comfortable for what it is. I have waited around in some pretty messy / slightly depressing auto shops, this place was fine. The price is competitive and Joe is a nice professional, and made an effort to get me out as fast as possible. Overall it was a great service, and I hope to pass this on to anyone else searching.

Best Smog Checkers In The Business :D

I am a female who knows nothing about cars. I was very apprehensive about getting this test. Joe's was very professional and efficient. His place was clean. There are magizines and a TV while you wait.

It is really great to find a honest and reputable facility. I highly recommended it.

It is worth the extra drive if you have ever experienced rude employees and false reasons to take your money.

It is really refreshing to not be taken advantage of by car mechanics.

It is great to know there are honest businesses out there.

Best Smog testing place in Los Angeles!

Joe is best smog testing guy in town.

He is fast, friendly and cheap! My experience couldn't have been better! 10/10!

I drove all the way from West Hollywood to see him in North Hollywood, but it was worth the drive.

The local stations around my house were costing twice as much!

He was done under 10 minutes... but I just wanted to hang out, talk with him and read his nice selection of very current magazines.

I will recommend him to everyone I know and will be back for sure!
