i do like this place, but not as much as ce fiore! that place is better, more flavor/variety... anyway, i just dont get why people like the original flavor? does it taste like milk gone bad and then frozen?
Over RATED Sour Gross YOUGURT
by sf2009 at Citysearch
Yozen Frogurt is way better and have flavors that actually taste good. Not like old milk and charge way too much for it.
Overall the yogurt is horrible!
- Pros: they have good toppings and jip you on the yogurt (they make a hole in the middle, so your really getting half)
- Cons: over priced, tastes horrible, service people are confused
Trust me...

... get the Mochi! It's really good. You'll like it. Sometimes you hve to request it because they keep it under the counter!
- Pros: Mochi!

This is actually not about the one in west hollywood, just pinkberry in general...
I was so excited when I heard pinkberry was opening close to me. When it opened, I went of course. I actually liked it. I tried the green tea, it was okay but got a regular with mango ad pineapple. I really liked it!!!!
Problem...
I'm not lactose intolerant, but my stomach hated it. I don't know if it is the bacteria? I even tried it again at starbucks with the sorbetto, which again, I loved.
It didn't like me.
I love the concept, love the fresh fruit.
Hate that my stomach doesn't like it.
- Pros: Great concept
- Cons: My stomach didn't like the yogurt
Never again....enough said...

Never again...enough said...Went there after dinner, parking is terrible. matter of fact, we got a ticket for a red zone that our car was not even parked in. And they were out of most of there toppings. Just a craze..they will all be gone soon enough...
They MESSED UP MY ORDER - how hard is it to make frozen yogurt?
by Buster0102 at Citysearch
OK, so I tried Pinkberry like everyone else and can honestly say I was VERY disappointed. The line was long which is brutal in the hot Cali heat. Finally when you get it, the customer service was bad - it was like they were just trying to rush us through to get to the next order. Can anyone say hello? Can anyone smile? Maybe the workers arent happy there, because they were SO unfriendly.
After the lack of customer service, they messed up my order!!! How hard is it to make a plain yogurt with strawberries and blueberries? they put blackberries on it instead. So then I had to wait for them to remake my order...which took forever. Did I get a "sorry about that?" Nope! It's the worst customer service ever!!
- Pros: can't think of any
- Cons: Long lines, bad customer service, messing up my order!!!
Frozen sour cream anyone?
by lisa3869 at Citysearch
Why anybody would wait in any kind of line for something that they could make at home by throwing some sour cream in the freezer for a few hours is beyond me. Oh, make sure not to add any sugar to that--they don't.
And to pay for it is even worse.
I think Pinkberry is like one of those fad diets that everyone does because everyone else is doing it.
And we all know that LA is a purebred mecca of that type. I'm sure some celebrity went there a few times, took their picture with the owner, and everyone in Hollywood decided that, somehow, it tastes good. DEFINITELY getting your money's worth. Oh yeah, its overpriced, too.
I love green tea and I love blueberry flavored yogurt, but Pinkberry manages to successfully ruin it. I guess the extra added sugar is essential in fro yo. No variety and choices that they do have are bland. Maybe if there were some butterfinger pieces or reeses cups to throw on top, there would be some flavor, but nope all you get is what seems to be fresh fruit (probably frozen, just well thawed, you know like MCDonald's). In fact, I think I would rather eat fro yo from McDonald's. Pinkberry does have the "its good for you" claim to make though. Except, when you're eating dessert-which is usually what any type of frozen treat is-would you sacrifice calories for flavor? I wouldn't.
If you're looking for a sweet adventure, make it to Yogurtland (on Sunset). Pinkberry is more like a trip to your parents house...the scenery never changes, you always know what to expect, and it always seems to leave a sour taste in your mouth.
Pinkberry versus Fruplosion
by ajard at Citysearch
I used to like Pinkberry until I discovered Fruplosion cafe inside the Fresh Fruit Bouquet company on 45th and Madison. They have a better tasting plain frozen yogurt and make parfaits with it, it is amazing! Some combos are the plain frozen yogurt from Frogurt with honey, walnuts and bananas. The do caramel , granola and apples to make an apple pie parfait. If you like Pinkberry you will LOVE Fruplosion. I am hooked and I went on their website they have locations opening all over the country. Oh I thought this was for a NYC Pinkberry. Well A Fruplosion is opening in Granada Hills soon too
- Pros: Has plain frozen yogurt, can be addicting
- Cons: Too Lemony compared to Frogurt and Fruplosion cafe
There are waaay better frozen yogurt spots out there
by purplefluff at Citysearch
Pinkberry, the talk of the city,,, I swear have these people even TRIED other frozen yogurt places? I'm sorry but Pinkberry ranks kind of low compared to the rest of them.. I love forzen yogurt, I have tried many other spots, everywhere I go if I see a new one I will try it. Pinkberry had some of the FEWEST toppings I have seen, it reeks like milk in every location eeew, and their staff needs a lesson in friendliness. Sorry to say but Pinkberry is not all it's hyped to be. They only had plain and green tea yogurt when I went.. WTF? how can this big chain only have TWO flavors? boo.. Honeslty, the best frozen yogurt spot is Dolce Mango, the have about 30 toppings, give out free chocolate or caramel toppings and have about 8 diffent flavors including mango, green tea, rasberry, melon, ect. And it's delicious! Sorry Pinkberry, yea you might be good, but as for REAL frozen yogurt lovers like me who aren't just trend followers but actually care about the quality of the yogurt, you get 2 stars. :(
- Pros: pretty inside
- Cons: employees
Unimpressive sour yogurt
by jericsmall at Citysearch
My friend dragged me here one afternoon. Granted, I'm more an ice cream person than yogurt person, so I'm biased. But the line was long. There was no parking (so I parked on the street -- instant parking ticket, yup). The guys behind the counter seemed more interested in socializing than serving customers. And to top it all off, the plain yogurt was sour. Even the fruit on top couldn't make up for it. I'll stick to my ice cream.
- Pros: Hard to find (you don't want to anyway)
- Cons: Storefront is too small, not enough seating, no parking
