AWESOME BAR AND SERVICE

I LOVE THE SCORP!!!! This is one of the only places in Hollywood to come have good drinks and get away from the Hollywood ridiculousness. Sammy is the best bartender in the world. He has turned this place into a second home for me and my friends, and is one of the only people who understands hospitality in this city. This place is a great pre-game spot right in the middle of Hollywood. Very unpretentious, great vibe, always a good time.

• Pros: SAMMY IS THE MAN, and Happy Hour till 9!!!!

Hollywood feel without the Hollywood attitude

Great place to go for cocktails anyday of the week. Been here a few times and no matter in a large crowd or a couple this place rocks.

Amongst a mass of touristey hollywood bars, this is the real thing for a Hollywood drink!

The bar has cool decor and a great drinks collection. Good place to meet before going out. Have a few cocktails. Hang at the bar. Or get a booth at the back in the darker lighting!

great place in hollywood

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. The place is small and cozy and not too over crowded. The bar tender knows what he is doing, and his drinks are great. Sammy the bartender makes the effort to get to know you, and does not disappoint. Great nachos!!! This is a great place to come any day of the week, and did i mention happy hour!!! No hollywood attitude here... great place to come to start your friday night...

I love this place!!!

This is our usual spot to start off the weekend. We try to go every Friday for the half off happy hour. My boyfriend and I usually go and split a pitcher of pomegrante margaritas to start off the evening beautifully. I love the 'bordello' (as someone else described it) feel to the bar. The bartender really knows his stuff about tequila. He always recommends new drinks for us to try out, he is always nice and he always keeps the drinks coming. I can't really explain why I love this place so much. It is just a comfortable bar where the patrons are there to have fun and hang out, not cause any drama. Five stars all the way from me.

Great Place to Hang Out, No Attitude

Went here last Saturday after we got bored with next-door Parc. Went at around 11pm and no lines whatsoever. Love the whole Bordello feel of the place. Great selection of Mexican liquor & beers, cool people, no attitude (save for the fact that Jeremy Piven came in, whom we also saw earlier, with paparazzi flahing their bulbs away). Great place to hang on a weekend.

good tequila selection, expensive, they are not getting my business again

had a not so pleasant experience there. the food was flavorless. the main reason we went there was to hang out before going to the club element. didn't get into element (bouncers with attitude) even after being promised by the manager that we were going to get walked over. boooo. not planning on returning to this place EVER!

Great Music, Drinks and Vibe...Waitresses need to smile a little more :0)

I came here for my cousins-girlfriends-younger sisters birthday bash and it was great! The waitresses were just beautiful but seemed a little irritated considering the place is small and they probably get groped all night long. I saw a couple of celebrities which is given in Hollywood but of course they always act snobby, especially the younger ones. The music was great, the drinks were perfect and people were friendly - the waitresses could smile a little more and that would equal to a perfect night. Overall, I highly recommend this place on ANY weekend. :0)

The perfect place for a night out!

Nikos, one of the owners, hangs out there often and is super friendly. The bartneders are and waitresses are hot. The drinks are amazing. The selection is large and tasty. Never had dinner there, so I can't comment on the food. Didn't pay for the drinks, so don't know about prices. But by far, the thing that keeps me coming back is the smoking hot bouncer Sean. Always smiling, always friendly, always hot.

Aces!

The service was a little slow once the place got packed, but the energy and the drinks made it a non-issue! Music was great, DJ was mixing latin with hip-hop, 80's, rock, you name it. Most amazing fresh margaritas I've ever had...Cucumber Margies!!!! LOVE IT! like a spa treatment. Beautiful crowd on a Tuesday night, guess it was some pop-star's boyfriend who promotes Tuesdays, and it was packed with young Hollywood celebs.
