i was a little skeptical of a zankou with a real parking lot and nicer decor, especially after westsider friends started raving about it -- the same ones who probably would never step foot in the hollywood one! but i have to admit, i'm swayed. the food is good, if not a little garlic butter heavy sometimes. it's a convenient location and nice service.
Pros: great food, clean space, nice service
Cons: parking can get a little busy at times, no street spots

More than the chicken itself, I love the garlic butter which you can spread over pita bread (you can buy 6 pieces for $1). The portions are HUGE... I could share a meal with two other people and decently priced. This is the place to go for low-fuss, low-priced food when you want it right away! It's one of my top two chicken spots in LA!
Pros: garlic butter, chicken, very prompt
Cons: limited parking?

This place and Versailles are teh too best chicken restaurants in town. That is if you're a garlic lover. Order the Chicken Tarna or teh Hal chicken and it's so good you can't stop eating. The meat shawarma is also good. Great food quality and smiling staff makes this fastfood alternative a must.
Pros: chicken and all other menu items
Cons: none

Great Overall! Chicken and sides were good. Prices were decent. Food was ready in record time. Well-worth the trip.
Pros: Fast, Good Price, Seating
Cons: Parking can be hassle, Stingy on Napkins, and on Garlic Sauc

I went to Zankou after soaking up all the hype, and it delivered. I ordered the roasted chicken wrap the first time and my next visit I got the chicken tarna wrap. Both were absolutely delicious. The meat is flavorful (although the roasted chicken was a bit dry compared to the chicken tarna) and the garlic sauce was a perfect compliment to the chicken and pita. A definite must if you want scrumptious chicken for only a few bucks. (the wraps are about 3.50-4 dollars).
Pros: garlic sauce, fresh food, flavorful chicken
Cons: none

I had to try this place based on all of the good reviews, and I must say they were all right on! The chicken here is so succulent; add on the garlic paste for a party in your mouth. I also like to order the tri-tip shawerma plate or the falafels on the side. Very delicious and worth the money; a meal for two usually runs about $20. You will leave with a full belly and a smile on your face!
Pros: Great taste, friendly service, extremely quick
Cons: none

I have had the white meat chicken plate & the chicken tarna plate. The roasted chicken is perhaps the best roasted chicken I have ever had, and I am a picky foodie world traveller. The garlic sauce is great, but I ended up putting most of it on mypita bec even though it tastes great on the chicken, the chicken alone is screamin' . The humas is good not great but a nice companion dish. On my way out the first time, the woman at the counter asked if I wanted to taste the chicken tarna, and even with a full stomach thought it was wonderful. The tarna plate is very good but a bit too much of a good thing. A better choice would be the tarna wrap.I want to try the eggplant salad and the tritip another time. Really clean and staff is very helpful. A definite 10!
Pros: Succulent Chicken, Inexpensive, Variety

Since it's Westside location opened, I've been there at least a couple of times each week! The fact that there is a parking lot there makes it MUCH more convenient than the Hollywood location. Everything is spiced and roasted to perfection, and their hummus and tahini are fantastic. I recommend getting takeout, because the restaurant tends to get very smoky, and there isn't enough ventilation. My favorite dish is the Tri-Tip Wrap.
Pros: Free Parking, Price, Speedy Service
