I just love how fresh La Salsa is and I can't get enough of that salsa bar because I like my mexican food spicy and I always need to doctor it up a bit. The food is a really great price too!
Fast, fresh Mexican specialties and a signature salsa bar are the hallmarks of this restaurant chain.

Founded in 1979 in Los Angeles, La Salsa has grown into a chain of quick-serve, taqueria-style restaurants. Specializing in soft-shell tacos and other Mexican favorites, the restaurant's hallmark is its salsa bar that allows customers to choose their toppings. Menu offerings include a variety of fish, meat and veggie tacos, plus burritos, quesadillas and salads. Entree-sized meal platters--like the enchilada plate or three-pepper fajita platter--come with rice, beans, chips and salsa.

Best of its type

Best 'fast food' Mexican we have eaten. Even my wife--an avowed Mex food avoider--found salad-type dishes to please. The boys (10 and 14) found much to love--and the salasa stand was fresh varied and tasty. Great vacation haunt or quick and cheap quality meal for locals. Open one in New Jersey, please!
