Good Cupcakes!
by MattCoughlinn
Alright so the cupcakes are pretty good not gonna lie however, they have this 24 hour atm machine, and I was there at 3 AM and they ran out of cupcakes after I stood in line for 10 minutes with my cousins from out of the country that were so excited. I was pissed. But there cupcakes are pretty darn delicious.
Huge disappointment
by TaraKath
I've heard a lot about these cupcakes and how "amazing" they are. This was a huge let down. The cupcakes are dried out and uninteresting. I've honestly had better cupcakes from an in-supermarket bakery. Please don't waste your money on these expensive mediocre cupcakes.
Mouthgasm guaranteed!
by HillsGuy
What I like most about these cupcakes is the buttery flavor of the moist cake, and of course the generous slathering of frosting.
They are not inexpensive by any means, and there are no cupcakes that are worth $39 a dozen, but splurging every once in a while is not only good for your tastebuds, but good for your soul as well.
LOve the cupcakes!

Now this is what I call awesome cupcakes! Though I have to wait a little before I can buy (the line was a bit long), it was definistely worth the wait. Took home a bunch for my wife and daughter and they too loved it. A lil pricey for a cupcake but worth it. I'll surely comeback for more
a mouth watering bomb exploding in your mouth
by jerryvillanesca
There is always a line outside of Sprinkles, and so I was tempted to see what everyone was raving about. Cupcakes have become such a trendy thing around these parts, so I was curious to see if Sprinkles was really worthy of all the attention. After a short wait in the gargantuan line, I will admit it moved pretty quickly, what waited on the other side was definitely the wait. Im a big fan of cupcakes and these were the bomb
A whole lot of hype, a whole lot of nothing special.

There is always a line outside of Sprinkles, and so I was tempted to see what everyone was raving about. Cupcakes have become such a trendy thing around these parts, so I was curious to see if Sprinkles was really worthy of all the attention. After a short wait in the gargantuan line, I will admit it moved pretty quickly, what waited on the other side wasn't worth the albeit short wait, nor a second thought. I was surprised that the cupcakes were really nothing special, a little sad and a little disappointed because I've heard such great things. I don't claim to be a culinary expert, but it's a cupcake, a pretty simple thing to evaluate and what I found at Sprinkles was great design, a very smart marketing ploy, and a whole lot of hype. The people who swear by Sprinkles are sheep, who see the masses and think that there must be something to the madness, but honestly there wasn't. Sprinkles is a pretty face without any substance. The cupcakes tasted like a Ralph's cupcake. In a blind taste test, you wouldn't know the difference. Their secret is just under baking the cake a bit, so it stays moist. Not rocket science. Maybe I would have been more sold if the flavors were more gourmet rather than your garden variety of chocolate and vanilla, vanilla and chocolate, and other just run of the mill flavors. Next time I won't waste my time or my money. It's honestly not worth it.
Bleh cupcakes.

This poor excuse for a bakery doles out overpriced, overly sweet glops of yuck. A whole lot of hype and not a whole lot of anything else. Very average, nothing special. The cupcakes tasted very oily, and I was very disappointed because I could only stomach one bite. The frosting was hard like it had been sitting all day, and it reminded me of a bad doughnut, the way bits of hard sugar were flaking off. Crumb is so much better, at least there you can get minis and streusel toppings and meringue, which in my opinion is a lot more inventive. The Beverly Hills store is tiny, which makes it even less inviting. Not worth the wait, or the price. Just average.
Darren Chaker Luvs His Cupcake!

I've been to Beverly Hills, and Scottsdale, but seem partial to the cupcakes in Beverly Hills, however Scottsdale never has a line. Darren Chaker
Not Worth the Hype
by rurs
I gotta say, these cupcakes are not special! at $3 and up, they are ALL about the hype. They're good, sure, but so are the red velvet cupcakes from Ralph's. Not worth a long line or the expensive price.
Perfection from the Original Cupcakery
by Erin W Davis
Although the cupcake isn’t exactly a new invention, Sprinkles is really who we should be thanking for the cupcake craze. In 2005 the first Sprinkles opened in Beverly Hills and since then the Sprinkles brand has become a worldwide obsession. They bake up mostly traditional flavors and keep decorations to a minimum. At Sprinkles, the cupcakes speak for themselves--they don't need crazy toppings or other gimmicks to sell. Some of the flashier cupcakeries might lure you away temporarily, but in the end, you'll always find your way back to the "original cupcake bakery." Their "best" flavors really come down to personal preference, so it's hard to suggest a certain flavor here. If they have any seasonal or holiday flavors when you go, I'd recommend getting those since they're only for a limited time. Also, make sure to follow them on Twitter and/or Facebook because they give out "secret words of the day" that can score you a free cupcake if you're one of the first people to whisper it to them.
