Great results so far with Fraxel.

I have really bad acne scars, so I was looking for Fraxel treatment for it. I went to TMD Medspa since they are near where I live and a friend recommended it. The treatment was a little stingey but kind of relaxing at the same time. The next day, my face was a little red but not too bad. By the end of the week, I had a rough feel to my face and used exfoliating scrub for that. Anyway, a month out, I see quite a difference in the smoothness and color of my cheek skin. So far so good!

• Cons: couldn't get an appointment the same week

SO happy with results!

I am on my 6th tattoo removal treatment at Tattoo MD and so far so good! My tattoo is fading well and i will probably need a few more treatments, but it is worth the wait because I really want this tattoo gone. The staff told me from the start that it is hard to exactly predict how many treatments it would take to remove it completely (because of how the treatment works and there are a couple different colors in it) but they gave me a really great price for my treatments and make every visit pleasant. I feel very comfortable there and the place is really nice inside. I would definitely recommend Tattoo MD to anyone.

Don't expect complete removal

I would not recommend this clinic if you have a large tattoo with many colors that you need removed. I have a large colorful piece across my lower back that I wanted completely gone. In my consultation I was assured that after my 8 sessions that I paid for in advance at $1,000 a piece for a total of $8,000 that there would only be "a little green left we'd have to touch up".

After 8 sessions my tattoo is still there, it's very faded, but very much still there. I went to them on and off over the course of 2+ years waiting more than the recommended 8 weeks in between treatments because it was so painful each time I went, even with numbing that I dreaded going back.

The staff was very nice and the NP that did most of my treatments did her best, but I think they are not honest about the results you'll get from the start. On the day of my last treatment I spoke to the office manager and told her I was unhappy with how much of my tattoo was still left and she looked at my back and said, "Oh yeah, well I would say a piece like that would take at least 16 if not 20 treatments".

Well, that would have been information I would have like to have given to me in my consultation. When I told her what I was told in my initial consult, she looked back in my chart and said, "Oh, I don't even know who this person is who did your consult, she doesn't even work here anymore".

When I asked if I could get further treatments at a discounted rate of say half price or so for the rest of my treatments since my tattoo was only half gone, they said they couldn't do that. The best they could offer me was like $800 a treatment.

After spending $8,000 with them, you'd think they'd offer a little better customer service, but once they have your money they don't really care. On top of it they are doing botox, IPL and all kinds of other things. They seem to just want to make as much money as they can in the aesthetics industry when it seems to me they really need to focus on what they supposedly specialize in, TATTOO removal.

If you have a small little tattoo that was homemade they can probably handle it, or if you are just looking to fade an existing tattoo for a better cover up they can definitely to that. But, if you have a large, professionally done tattoo that you want totally removed, it will take a lot more treatments and money than they initially tell you.

You'll wish you had gone there sooner!

The staff and products at Tattoo MD are fantastic. I chose them after checking them out on CitySearch. I have been going to them for laser hair removal of the bikini area and underarms for several months.

Everyone is professional and friendly without being fake. They always take me on time or before my scheduled appointment and they have never tried to sell me any other products or services. I have recommended them to several friends who are giddy with the results they have received. I have other friends who have gone to elsewhere and paid as much as 40% more for the same products. (I know I sound like a commercial but they really are that good.)

Also, they stay current with the newest products. During the course of my treatments they upgraded to a new laser machine and now the treatments are practically painless.

I wish they had been around when I was in my 20s so wouldn?t have wasted money on waxing and so I could have enjoyed the results for many more years.

Excellent service!

I went to Tattoo MD for a tattoo removal. I also decided to get laser hair removal for my underarms while I was there. I have to say that I was very pleased. The staff were very knowledgeable and seemed genuinely caring. The physician assistant that did my tattoo removal was extra careful and had great bedside manner. The hair removal was fine and didn't even hurt! Plus inside is very relaxing and there's a good energy/nice decor. I'd highly recommend them.

awsome hair removal and facials!

I always wanted to do hair removal, but was always nervous, but as soon as i went to tattoo md and talked to the PA I felt totally comforatble! Ive done 4 out of my 6 treatments and already have awsome results!! I cant wait until Im finished! I also had an awsome facial. it was the most relaxing hour, and my skin was glowing for a week after!! I would definatly recommend tattoo md!!!

Awesome Botox!

As guy, I was kind of nervous about getting Botox. A friend of mine recommended this place, because I was starting to get forehead lines that wouldn't go away. So I got injections there - I was very impressed. The office is very nice, kind of a soothing atmosphere. The PA that did my injection was also really professional and very particular. The price was good too - they charged me about $10 a unit, so I ended up only paying around $100 for my treatment! The treatment worked great, by the way.

Only the best service

I have been going to Tattoo MD for a couple years now, and ONE of the great things about the office is that you never feel like you've been ripped off. You get excellent service, a clean office, friendly staff, and top-notch medical personel doing the treatments at incredible prices. If you want to see a derm, that's your business, however, I would rather see Jeanine, a Physician Assistant, who does cosmetic injections and laser all day long, instead of scraping moles, skin tags, and acne.

I started off doing tattoo removal, and have done, botox, juvederm and hair removal, all with complete satisfaction. So I choose TATTOO MD!

Great service and nice staff!

I had a really great experience at Tattoo MD. I went there to get tattoo removal and i was nervuos because i knew nothing about it before I went. Both the receptionist and nurse answered all my questions and were super professional. I got my first treatment and found it to be really easy. i noticed fading after the first treatment, which is great, and I can't wait until my tattoo is gone! I wound up getting a facial while i was there too and i really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for tattoo removal or other spa services.

Great experience!

Tattoo MD staff are so nice and knowledgeable! The receptionist and nurse answered all of my questions, which i liked. The clinic is very relaxing, has a clean/luxurious atmosphere. I decided to get laser hair removal and will probably get my tattoo removed next time. The hair removal was really easy and not that painful. The nurse that did it was gentle and very thoughtful. I was very pleased with my experience and would recommend this place.
