Great Facials- Try the GREEN TEA PEEL for serious problems

I have been going to Relax for a while now and I think Tracy is the best there is. This past week I decided to try the Express Green Tea Peel to deal with some cystic acne around my jawline. Firstly, when I went in I was prepared to go for the full Green Tea Peel (not the express) which is easily double the price. After looking at my skin Tracy suggested just doing the express. It is this kind of honesty and care for what's best for my skin that keeps me going back to Relax.

SO, we did the peel and I have to say it is fairly painful. This is not something to do if you are looking to have a relaxing experience. BUT if you are looking for REAL results- it is worth the pain. I had 2 days of extreme tenderness and redness on my face, then 2 days of peeling and by day 5 my skin was so beautiful. It is just glowing and SO SOFT and the acne along my jawline is almost entirely gone.

Yay for Green Tea Peels...will be doing it again in a few months to get this perfect glow again.

An Awesome Foot Massage!!!

Just recently I got an European facial, and a hand and foot massage!!! It was the first time I had ever received a foot and hand massage...and it was amazing. Literally when I saw my feet and I said out loud, "This is better than pedicure!"

Watch out for Hidden Charges!!! Sneaky and I did not appreciate that. Was mislead!!

I found Relax spa on the web and they were running a special on a full hour facial for $39.00 on Wed! I was really surprised and figured I would check it out for that price.

The staff was very nice and the setting was relaxing. I have had MANY facials in the past and the European facial was not that great. They did an extraction on my face for the blackheads and I was pleased with that but the facial itself wasn't all that impressive.

When I got to the counter they charged me $59.00 instead of $39.00. When I asked why, she said that the extraction was extra. I NEVER asked for the extraction. They automatically did it without asking me if I CHOOSE to do it.

I was VERY upset and told them that I would never go back again because I feel that adding hidden charges is wrong and not very professional.

• Cons: hidden costs. no communication between owner and client. was misled. very unprofessional.

I had the most wonderful deep tissue massage here for much less than Burke Williams. They were friendly, punctual, and professional. I am going back next week for sure and probably will sign up for a series at a discounted rate.

Great Massage, relaxing and deep

I highly recommend Relax Spa. I moved to Burbank a few months ago and have been looking for a place that could provide deep and relaxing massage; especially on my neck and shoulders which get very tense from lots of work at the computer. Relax Spa, while a "spa", has a relaxed environment that I don't feel uncomfortable going into as a man.

The staff are able to give both a deep and relaxing massage at a reasonable rate. Well worth the money.

A peaceful, tranquil oasis once you get through the door.

I visited Relax Spa the day before my wedding. I had booked a facial and a massage. Needless to say, I was a little tightly-wound! From the moment I stepped in through the front door, I felt calmer, and relaxed. The atmosphere is amazing. It is a small area, but everything has been put on display with the utmost care. I was offered cool water with lemon and cucumber, and relaxed on the comfortable couch while I filled out my forms and waited for my appointment. The decor is tasteful and they do not try to cram as much as they can into the space, rather, just the essentials are displayed. The facial I received was wonderful - Traci took time and care not to upset my skin, but rather cleanse it and rejuvenate it, leaving it hydrated and amazing-looking for my photos. The treatment room was quiet and peaceful. I then had my Swedish/Deep Tissue massage. My masseuse was really well-trained and perceptive - she worked with me to get to the knots and tension, instead of trying to force it out of me. She was respectful and asked a lot of questions to find out what technique would work best for me, and if I had any physical problems that might be exacerbated by massage. Very complete. Afterwards, I was allowed to get dressed and up and about at my own pace - I wasn't rushed out for the next client. Traci recommended some other skin care products for a particular condition I had, but did not push me to buy them. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, well-priced, with staff that are very much service-oriented and friendly. I love it there!!
