If you are in market for a new stylist, must go to A La Mode Salon in Glendale. Alina knows what she is doing and would change your look for the better. I found her on Citysearch and I am happy to say that I am glad I took the advice from the reviews and tried her out. You won't be sorry. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll make this short and sweet. I am an ex-hairdresser. I loved the industry, but not working in the salon. I moved to Los Angeles four year ago and still remember the first time I walked into A La Mode. Unpretentious, courteous, friendly. I have found a hairdresser for life in Alina. She ALWAYS takes the time to talk with me about what I want to do. She treats not only me, but also everyone who walks through her door as a friend and valued customer. Her skills are some of the best I have experienced. Long and curly styles, short precision cuts, subtle highlights, funky color; she can do it all, and do it well. This girl has risen to the top of her field, owns her own business, and is flooded with loyal clients. Her prices are affordable, and she never pressures you to but products. Absolutely perfect in everyway.

I first went to Alina for a haircut about a year ago & she did a great job. My hair was in terrible shape from over-straightening & she made it healthy and bouncy. She recommended great products and completely rehabilitated my hair. When I decided to get hair extensions, I went to her because I had seen her work and trusted her. Not only does she use the best hair, but she is amazingly skilled. Nobody has any idea I have extensions and when I tell them they dont believe me. I used to go to Frederik Fekkai in Beverly Hills - Alina is better. On top of all of that, her shop is adorable, she is great, and her prices are reasonable.

After being continually disappointed by my old salon on a whim one day I decided to try out Alina. I haven't had a great stylist in years after losing my longtime one. After years of searching for someone fabulous, I need look no more because Alina is amazing. She's actually better than my old stylist which is saying a lot. It's hard to find someone that is great at doing color and cutting hair. She excels in both areas. It also helps that when you are in her chair she is fun to talk to... it's as if you are spending the afternoon with a good friend. All in all you can't go wrong by seeing Alina and I am quite confident that if you've been searching for someone great, your search will end after seeing her.

Pros: You'll look fabulous when you leave.

Matt is amazing!!! He will give you the best cut and a great color. Matt takes his time and always does a stellar job. Not only that but the studio is very cute. Can't wait to go back!

Pros: Flexible, great service, decent prices, nice atmosphere

I have been going to Alina's for over three years. She was recommended to me by my daughter. Very professional, but at the same time very warm and friendly. Alinas' work is execellent. I enjoy going to her salon, and always leave very satisifed. Her personnel is also very friendly and always welcome you. The salon is very clean, has a nice atmosphere and is well decorated. Appointments are flexible and very accomodating, even last minute ones that fit my very busy schedule. I highly recommend Alina for her work and for caring about your individual needs.

I've been coming to A La Mode for about 3 years. I had stopped seeing my former stylist because he wouldn't listen to me. Even though I'm 61, I am not ready for an old lady haircut which is what my former stylist gave me. Alina always listens. I love what she does to my hair which is thick and naturally frizzy. Even though a lot of her clients are young and trendy, she does very well by us older women also. I've never had a stylist before that leaves me satisfied every single time.

Love my color and my cut! Alina does a great job of listening to her clients' needs and executing beautifully. My search is finally over for a great colorist/stylist.

My husband and I have been both getting the best haircuts ever by Alina.Also, we always get appointments that fit our busy schedules, which we really appreciate a lot!She always has creative and stylish haircut ideas that match our needs.We can really trust her with our hair, which we all know is usually hard to do with hairstylists! :)
