The best skincare specialists in Los Angeles Orange County!

Dr. Pien, Dr. Milgrom, Tracie and the entire staff at AMA are fabulous! They are so knowledgeable, talented and caring. They really know what they're doing when it comes to individual skincare and take the time to teach their patients about the skin. They offer all of the latest in new technology as well as the proven treatments so are able to offer the absolute best for your individual needs. And at a great value. I love their holistic, wellness approach. If you want gorgeous, tightened, glowing skin, I would highly recommend AMA Skincare.

Outstanding is all I can say !

I ususally don't write reviews. But I give credit where it is due. . I'm going to turn forty this year and have been noticing lately that my skin is not as toned and youthful as it used to be. I went to American Medical Aesthetics for a free consultation, after a thorough research and lots of asking around. And boy I'm glad I did. I was seen by Dr. Milgrom for evaluation. He answered all my questions, introduced me to the latest and many technologies AMA's has to offer combining the medical and the hollistic wellness approach.Dr. Milgrom made certain i was educated in all aspect of the amazing Spectralift. I had 2 treatment so far and my face is the best it had ever been in a long time. Dr. Pien is the one who does the procedure. Well there aren't enough word to explain how good she is. I have a deep respect and appreciation not only to her level of skill and expertise but also as a person. I went in between treatment to see if i needed some fillers, she told me to go back home since I don't need any. WHO does this nowadays??? her honesty, integrety and generosity are a breeze of fresh air. Last but not least they have a wonderful staff. Trisha and Tracy are very knowledgeable, accomodating and very helpful. All in all it is definitely a deal. Outstanding is all I can say !

They have changed my life!!!

I have a huge birthmark on my chest, and it seen impossible to get rid of it. I have tried different lasers with different dermatologists, and nothing seen to work. I tried AMA skincare and it was a blessing. My birthmark started to get lighter with the first treatment. I had two treatments so far, and it looks great. The staff is amazing; they are friendly and professional people. I highly recommend AMA for any skin treatment. THEY DO SHOW RESULTS =)

My home away from home

I have known these highly professional and classy practitioners since 2006. They are the real deal with laser in terms of finally getting rid of sun spots, uneven skin tone and overall care of your skin. They have the CP8 laser which is rare for any dermatologist to have. After having spent literally thousands elsewhere, the only place to go is AMA. The staff is fantastic - Tricia, Tracie, Michelle, Dr. Pien and Dr. Milgrom. I always feel like I accomplished something really big as people notice my skin and I have actually been stopped on the street as well as in line in markets to ask why my skin looks so great.....and I am 50 so that feels fantastico! Look no further...these people are the total real deal ...they also have hyperbaric oxygen, botox, juvederm and all the other goodies if you just want to go that route. Conveniently located and down to earth...you will love Dr. Alice Pien when you meet her....she is just so special as a person and a doc. Thanks and I am so glad you guys are in my life!

Amazing staff! Totally worth it!

I love AMA skincare due to the AMAZING staff and after a few months of treatments, my face has cleared up and I look amazing. They definitely tailor the treatments to each individual and it should be that way since everyone's skin is different. I had horrible service and treatment from LDI (laser dermatology institute) where I did not even see a Doctor during the 3 months of treatment and it cost an arm and a leg. So I was hesitant to try out another laser/skincare place because I felt that most likely I would be out a lot of money and I wouldn't even see a doctor.

I was really surprised to see Dr. Milgrom greeting me at the consultation and not some shady salesman like the last time. He explained my options, how the skin worked, and what the lasers would do and how they would help my skin. I was enlightened and for the first time understood the science of the skin to better take care of my face.

So I decided to give it a try since I was sick of having acne and after a few months and through the amazing help and knowledgeable staff and doctors, my skin cleared up and it looked amazing.

Throughout the 3-4 months of treatment, I was at times, impatient and thought my skin was getting worse but I finally realized that it was a process and it takes time for the skin to heal.

Plus Dr. Pien was there the entire time helping me through each step and answered my questions when I was freaking out. They definitely go the extra mile to make each patient feel comfortable and very accommodating with scheduling so that a patient would be happy every time they visit the office. Like I said, the staff at AMA skincare is amazing, I love Tricia and Michelle, the esthetician. They are just so so nice and helpful.

Michelle is a godsend and I would even say that she is the best esthetician . She is so patient, nice, knowledgeable, and definitely cares about your progress. She even texted me many times after seeing her to check up on me to make sure that my skin was getting better. Who does that? Seriously, most people would not want patients to have their personal cell phone numbers to bother them after hours and Michelle is willing to do that automatically. She really does care about each patient and that what makes AMA skincare so amazing to have people that are there working and helping patients because they care and not just to make money.

So if you have acne problems, go and see them and be prepared to be amazed. They also have tons of positive reviews on citysearch. Go and you won't be disappointed. I would not go anywhere else now when I need help with my skin.

Solution to having a beautiful skin

I have done a series of treatment at the AMA for the last few months . I was always very impressed by the quality of their service by the sweetest stuff that they have. However, today after having Dr. Pien working on my broken capillaries by using the laser, i have to say that i'm most definately at the right place for doing any future work on my face. She absolutely knows what she's doing. I am so happy to have found this place and i'm looking forward to a long standing relationship. You guys are a bunch of wonderful people.

AMA was my solution after 8 years of looking

After 8 years of treating my melasma in several treatment centers, I finally found a place that is doing it. I had my first treatment 8 weeks ago. The results are fantastic. The reduction has been sustain over the 8 weeks and my skin is looking amazing. I can't wait to go for my second treatment next week. Thank you AMA for taking care of my skin once and for all.

Great laser treatment for stretch mark removal!

I've had stretch marks ever since puberty and they are really embarrassing specially because they're on my arms and lower back. I couldn't wear sleeve less tops or dress coz i have to hide them. I've wasted so much time and money on soo many different creams that even work at all. Its sad that i didn't find this place right away. My treatment consisted of 3 laser and collagen induction therapy (CIT) in between and i have to say that after just the first laser and CIT i already saw dramatic results!! My stretch marks faded so much that Dr Pien already had a hard time seeing them on my second treatment!

The whole staff is very accommodating and very nice. They are all knowledgable in what they do. Dr Milgrom and Dr Pien really take time to explain the whole procedure and answer any questions. They all really pamper u and will make u feel comfortable from the time u walk in.

Their services are very effective because they have a whole lot of different lasers (unlike other places, and yes ive done my research) because as Dr Milgrom explained, there are specific lasers that ur skin needs depending on its condition. They're also the only place i found that combine Laser and Collagen Induction therapy. Their prices are very competitive and well worth it.

I am very happy i found this place and would definitely recommend it to everyone!

They'll change your skin - and your life!

If I could point to one single thing that has helped my appearance, made me feel confident about my skin, and generated the kind of results and compliments that you normally only see on commercials, in magazines or in the really, really hopeful part of the back of your mind, it's the treatments I've received at American Medical Aesthetics.

The staff is so well-trained and are such experts, that you feel comfortable putting yourself in their hands immediately; they take the "scary" out of lasers because they explain everything in such great detail that you feel you could almost do the treatment on yourself. The value of the services FAR exceeds the cost. And the results? They're truly astounding. I know that it sounds ridiculous to say that getting a treatment for my skin was a life-changing thing, but that's what it was. I look in the mirror and don't see any of the things that once were an issue.

I've had a series of their SpectraLift treatments, and now I hardly have to wear makeup, look ten years younger, and get carded when I walk into bars. I can't say enough good things about them. Please go!
