What a view: Whether you're looking from the outside in or the inside out, this Brentwood hotel is an all-around eye-catcher.

No, that's not the Capitol Records building. The cylindrical edifice jutting out above the 405 Freeway where it meets Sunset Boulevard is the Hotel Angeleno, a stylish and eye-catching spot for out-of-towners wanting to stay on the Westside. Each of the 209 rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi access, ergonomic workstations, 300 thread-count sheets and comfy pillowtop mattresses. When it's time to get out of the room, guests can enjoy the penthouse-level restaurant (which offers panoramic views of the city) and outdoor heated pool, featuring its own fireplace.
