I live in Chicago and recently started visiting Los Angeles regularly (monthly) for business. Several months ago I left Chicago without having time for a haircut. A colleague recommended Billy Lowe and his salon. I called him and, since I was in a rush, he was able to work me into his schedule that same day! Haircuts are equally as important to guys as to gals and I was really nervous about going to someone other than my regular sylist. I mentioned this to Billy and he sat down with me and talked about how I wanted my hair cut. And, he did it exactly as I wanted - - not the way he thought it should be done. I have since been to him again and he changed my cut a little like he thought I should be having it done. And, it was perfect! I have now left my regular Chicago stylist of seven years and now wait until I am in Los Angeles to see Billy. He also recommended a shaving cream and shampoo which I have tried and found to be very good. His salon is small and personal - - I'm not sitting around with a bunch of people - - and comfortable. He is never pushy and always respectful. If I feel like talking he makes small talk with me. If I want to spend my haircut time taking a nap or thinking about my work, he respects that. Billy's salon is a top quality salon and he is a top quality professional. I will continue using his services and have recommended him to several of my Los Angeles colleagues, both men and women. He's top notch!
Pros: His salon is very easy to get to and their is plenty of parking very close by.
Cons: There are no cons - - my entire experience with Billy Lowe has been positive.
