Great Studio

I have been going to the here since October 2007. It is a quiet, serene and cozy studio. The place lives up to its name. My trainer, designs each session depending on how my body feels. Some days, I am stiffer (arthritis) and we do more stretching, some days I feel great and she works me out! I always feel like I am her only client, that’s how focused on me she is. As a result of my weekly visits, my body is much stronger, more flexible and looks a lot better. My arms and legs have long, strong muscles, my abs are finally getting strong! I have never liked exercise and now, I cannot live without my Pilates session. I joke that I feel just as good after Pilates as I do after a massage! I highly recommend his spot to anyone looking for personalized training.
The pilates studio you've been looking for

I discovered Jaime after rotating through a couple of the power pilates studios in town. Although I enjoyed the workout these classes gave me, I was looking for something different. I wanted a program that gave me that great workout, but also gave me the attention to detail and that picky focus on position that a classic pilates class offers. Jaime delivers! She kicks my butt and doesn’t let me cheat or get sloppy. A great teacher and a really fun session. Highly recommended.
Jaime is the Best

I love so many things about my sessions with Jaime. First of all, she meets you every time ready to work hard, with an incredible smile and openness. And she pushes you to work hard and go beyond what you think you can do. She is so knowledgeable in Pilates and body work that she can go in a direction with you, and change directions based on how you and your body are responding to the work. She is open and loving and extremely professional. I can't recommend her enough. It is one of the best hours of my week!
Best Pilates and awesome instructor

I've met Jaime Ullman (owner and Pilates instructor) in a different studio, but noticed very quickly that she is truly dedicated to teaching Pilates in the utmost professional and most knowledgeable manner. Her skills exceed by far all my past experiences with Pilates instructors. Her heart is in it and she gives the gift of awakening my every muscle only to make it stronger.
The studio is very peaceful and inspiring. I truly recommend Jaime and her expertise coming from a dance background. Jaime is the reason why I am now addicted to Pilates and can't wait to see her again.
Give it a try -- you won't be disappointed.

From the first session with Jamie, the connection was made on how over-time compensation of muscles were supporting weakness of mine physically and mentally. Her awareness enlightened me to the core!! Within a short period of time, my body craved the deep internal cleanse that had began. I would leave feeling lighter with each session. Strength, encouragement and drive in Jamie's smile touches your core!!

I have been working with Jaime for a few months now, and I have looked forward to every single session. I cannot motivate myself when it comes to exercise, but she is so encouraging, explains so well, and makes the movements so interesting that the hour just flies by. She is really knowledgeable and keeps your mind and body engaged.
If you're thinking of pilates, or want to strengthen your body in a way other than running on a boring treadmill, you should go see Jaime. The studio is very clean and inviting, the equipment well maintained, but Jaime herself is the best attraction. She's WONDERFUL and I can promise you that you won't be disappointed.

A Real Stand Out

Jaime is a gifted teacher and trainer who guides and directs my body through the Pilates experience. I have always been athletic and worked out, whether on my own, with a personal trainer or by taking a class. Los Angeles is filled with Pilates studios and trainers, but many cannot deliver the goods. Jaime is a sure bet to do so. I injured my back and not only has she helped me through my injury but she is extremely knowledgeable in doing so. She is trained in both East and West coast styles and is a dancer as well. I love Pilates and have worked with Jaime twice a week for many months. Pilates is an unbelievable workout, and Jaime will work you. I always feel satisfied when I leave and I have become increasingly aware of every part of my body. My body is stronger and more fit. I look forward to increasing strength and fitness and always appreciate Jaime's methodology, her sense of humor, understanding and patience.

Fantastic Pilates instruction

As a mover herself Jaime has a great teaching style. You are in constant motion but there is still the attention to form and detail that makes a pilates teacher great.
I always feel challenged by my session but leave feeling balanced and refreshed.
Jaime brings so much energy to the work that it is really contagious. You owe it to your body to try Pilatesblue!!

I started working with Jaime at the recommendation of my chiropractor because of recurring joint problems. My basic problem is hypermobility, i.e., my joints are way too loose. Although I had been working out at the gym to strengthen muscles to support my joints, I was still having problems. I have now worked with Jaime for a little over a month, and I can feel the difference. In fact, my chiropractor can SEE the difference! My posture has improved thanks to all that core work, and I can carry heavier things. More than anything, though, I feel grateful for the psychological lift I get from working out hard (and Jaime does work you hard!) and feeling stronger as a consequence. I recommend Jaime to anyone out there who has been though physical therapy and gym workout, but still needs some work to get stronger. I think of it as an extension of physical rehabilitation.
