HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!

by x3penny

The atmosphere was nice, but the portions were way too small for the prices they were charging. The service was TERRIBLE. Our waiter hardly said a word to us all night. The only interaction we had was him taking our order. We decided to talk to the manager, but he seemed to hardly care at all. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone! There' are tons of other great places to eat. AVOID BIGGS!

  • Pros: Atmosphere

so expensive!

by kelliq

so, i go there with my good friend and we order three plates to share. they brought out our food and i was wondering where the rest of it was. we went out for sandwiches afterwards. i do go back for their beets with fresh motz. dish. it's amazing. they also have a full bar and a very small take out/home counter. it's all tapas and it's all small. one dish can only be shared between two people. if there are four people in your party, order two of the same dish in order to share. be prepared to pay though. it would be very impressive to go on a date there if you could afford to fill them up.

Biggs; small portions at an over the top price!

by ukmusicfreak

The ambiance is great...good music, cool atmosphere, but the bar (which serves beer, wine ONLY by the bottle and mixed drinks made with wine substitutes) has only 3 seats. So there's no hanging out at the bar. We ordered 5 or 6 plates of their tapas style plates. When they came out we were all agast! Each tapa was barely enough for 2 people. Our seared scallops had a total of 3 on the plate, the ceviche had 2 crackers and about a cup of fish, the braised pork was about the size of a SMALL loin and the polenta was about a cup worth. Don't get me wrong, the food was wonderful, but it would have been nice to have gotten what we paid for. The tapas start at around $15/$17 and go upwards to $26 or so. I understand that tapas style means smaller portions, but come on!

  • Pros: Cool atmosphere, Attentive service, Yummy food
  • Cons: Undersized portions, Limited bar, Poor value

WOW

by lb_eater

Biggs was an amazing dining experience. I had no idea what to expect - I'm not sure I understand the lack of a sign or really any distinguishable characteristic on the outside of the building - but once inside I was blown away. The food is incredible. The combination of the music, food and impecible service is something I've only experienced in very few restaurants.

I highly recommend trying Biggs - you won't be dissapointed.

  • Pros: the Food, the Music, the Service
  • Cons: parking, no real patio, limited wine list
