Terri Star, master floral designer finally found at House Of Petals

Thank you, onehousefan, for finding my favorite floral designer ever! Terri Star was my designer for 15 years in Malibu. It's true, she has that extra special something that makes her designs radiate. I'm so glad to know how I can reach her now. She's an icon in Malibu and so many of my friends and neighbors only did business with her. She touched so many lives with not only her flower arrangements, but with her genuine, loving way. I'm thrilled I can let this community knows she's now employed by House of Petals.

House of Petals, Terri Star speaks to the Heart

It's rare that I'm drawn to write other then friend or family, but I HAD to commend you on the service I received from one of your designers. I believe her name is Terri Star. As soon as I walked in the store she greeted me so warmly, not in the normal buyer/seller way, but personally and genuine. Ahhh, what a welcomed lift to my spirit from a total stranger who through her simple greeting, "Hello welcome to the house of petals..." infused the up most respect, compassion, enthusiasm and value for me. I found it easy to put my order in her hands and KNEW she would use all of her integrity and artistry to carry through on my order.

When my girlfriend received the flowers she said her jaw dropped. She said the not only had not seen another floral sculpture so unique and gorgeous, but it also had most "loving" sense to it. Imagine if you could bottle that, "love".

Thank you for touching two lives. If Terri is any indication of service the rest of your store employees, you've got a customer and a fan for life.

A really great florist!!

I work for an interior design firm with an extremely touchy clientele, and we used House of petals for a last minute private party. We were blown away by the level of creativity and their ability to work within our budget and still create pieces that accented our decor and also added something of their own to the space. Their designer worked with me on the phone and even followed up after delivery to be sure we were happy. We have a short list of high-end florists we use from time to time and would feel confident adding them to our list for even the most particular clients.

• Pros: striking/eclectic design
• Cons: somewhat pricey, but you get what you pay for

Late on delivery & Terrible Customer Service

My order was late, and the situation was handled so poorly, I would never use them again. I was told my delivery would arrive by a certain time, and when it was 2 hours late, I called to find out where my flowers were, and received nothing but poor customer service.

I am so disappointed with this place and their horrible customer service! Buyer beware.

WOW!!

I was referred there by a friend and I must say, I was floored. I never looked at flowers this way and I was amazed at the talent and imagination they had. We are having a relatively small wedding but I still want it to be spectacular and I think this is just the ticket. This is totally worth going over budget for.

• Cons: Can't afford to have flowers delivered by them everyday.

Amazing works of art

This is the first time I have ever bothered to write a review on here, but I just had to because this place is amazing. I went to House of Petals on referral of a friend, and it is the most incredible flower store- actually more like a gallery- anyways, the space is beautiful and the arrangements were like nothing I have ever seen before. I wanted to make sure the arrangements I ordered for my wedding were actually like the ones I was shown, so I had my dad send a few to some friends and collegues and they were all spectacular. The pictures from my wedding were amazing and it was totally due to the embiance that the arrangements added. (Well, I mean, we looked good, too! lol) Anyway, thank you House of Petals! Thank you for the amazing "living art" you provided me, and especially for being so sweet and patient while I took forever to make decisions. I really appreciated it ! Oh, and like 10 of my friends are going to be calling you!

Took my breath away!

This place is undoubtedly the best florist in town. I am a wedding planner and have used all the big names in floral design in LA. One of my brides had been referred to House of Petals by one of her friends, since I had never used them before, I decided to go with her.

We were greeted by one of their sales executives, who sat with us and answered questions for the better part of an hour! I can tell you from experience, NO ONE in town gives as much time to a bridal meeting as the professionals at House of Petals. Triana was extremely knowledgeable and made sure the bride was completely satisfied before the end of the meeting. She was extremely organized and so friendly, she made the usually daunting task of selecting flowers quite pleasurable.

The wedding was gorgeous. Jesse, the designer was on time, professional and displayed an incredible amount of attention to detail while setting up. The centerpieces were works of art. Everyone on my team was extremely impressed. House of Petals will be my first and only choice for every single event I plan from now on.

Exceptional service and design

I was just driving by when I saw the House of Petals sign. It looked so beautiful from the outside that I decided to take a peak. At the time, I wasn't even sure what House of Petals was.

The inside was gorgeous and welcoming, and I was greeted with a smile. After I looked around at all the flowers I decided I had to send something to someone. The head designer spoke with me personally about what I wanted and showed me the website to give me an even broader understanding of their designs. I picked elements from various designs and they listened to me and interpreted it into a wonderful piece that didn't totally break me financially.

The person I had the arrangement sent to was floored and called me nearly crying. She kept saying over and over that she wished she could keep it forever.

As long as I'm sending flowers in the L.A. area, I will never again use another florist. I can't wait to throw a party just so I can have House of Petals provide the flowers.

House of Problems

Interesting and unique designs. However they seem to have a hard time delivering on time. Not a big deal for single arrangements (like birthdays or get wells) but could be a major disaster for a wedding or large event.

To answer that you have to see the works of their main designer Jessie Zepeda. Busy in the back always arranging different styles, Jessie is a master of his craft. Every vase, bouquet, Orchid, or Rose is handled with the upmost care. Submerging flowers and twining them around in various ways you can't help but be amazed. Run under the watchful eye of Charity Hill House Of Petals cater to those who wish to send more than just flowers. When you see their special creations such as a centerpiece, in a hotel lobby, or in a home, you know you haven't gotten a regular handful of flowers, you have received a masterpiece, a work of art that will not only brighten your day but will make you feel like you are special and that House Of Petals made sure they put that specialness into each and every customer. House Of Petals is true couture , House Of Petals is true elegance.
