Mean and snobby customer service, the worst experience in my life...
by navelmaxime at Citysearch
I never felt miserable before, but now it has been done by the most unfriendly people i've ever met in my life, i do not recommend this place at all....
I walked there yesterday 'cause i was looking for a birthday gift for my boyfriend, at first when i came in no one said anything to me not even 'Hi', i guess 'cause i did not wear any famous brand that day my money was not good enough for them, if you have seen before "pretty woman" that was exactly what happened when she gets in a shop on Rodeo Dive and they just refused to give her some help...
They were just snobby, had a lot of attitude... Who the hell they think they are????
I got the answer: The most unfriendly, snobby sales persons... just like British....
Finally i spended my money at Fred Siegal and got a good deal...
- Pros: worst customer sevice
Terrible place to buy accessories

I just had a terrible experience with this store and its manager. I purchased a beautiful and expensive suitcase from them only to have the handle break. I am trying to get the replacement part and the manager said they can only send me to a luggage repair shop and hope a generic part will work. This is not why I purchased a $600 suitcase. Buyer beware, if you want a suitcase you can maintain, buy it from a company who specializes in such things, no matter how beautiful the bags at Paul Smith.
- Pros: beautiful design
- Cons: no customer service or support
Where Old Englande and Fiorucci Spirit Collide...

Can't miss the hot pink facade, and the cohesive yet eclectic goods inside make you want to walk clockwise as though in a museum. Got my spectacular Penford tennis shoes, camouflage in the shape of bunnies...the joy is in the details in this shop. Helpful staff is not...snotty! how refreshing... I shop the sales, where goods are priced at my level of purchase, and this from a Maxfield Blue, Not Maxfield, shopper.
Paul Smith in the west coast...finally!

You must check out this shop on Melrose. Melrose is finally getting a much needed facelift with higher end shops coming in!
A theatrical WeHo store is home to this beloved Brit's eclectic collection of clothes, wares and oddities.

In Short
Paul Smith unites design-with-a-twist men's and women's fashions under the same roof in his only West Coast shop. Famous for concealing thoughtful design elements in almost every garment--from whimsical embellishments and lace linings to unexpected buttons--Smith's hot pink space is divided into boutiques that look like film sets: a 19th-century Paris apartment and an 18th-century Avignon chateau. Along with his creations are quirky personal finds like spider cufflinks, wooden moose heads and Bakelight bracelets.
