Good, old-fashioned, personal service!

After having previous appliance repair experiences that were terrible, I was not looking forward to finding a company to work on my washing machine. But after discovering Paul’s Washer & Dryer Repair, I have renewed faith that knowledgeable, quality and honest repair people do still exist! Paul’s Washer & Dryer repair is a hands-on, personal service company.

Paul’s is not a huge company with a frustrating automated phone system. I spoke to Dave about a washer part than needed to be replaced. He took the time to discuss it with me and showed that he was completely familiar with the problem. David also recommended that I have my dryer cleaned out since I’d never had that service performed before. He quoted me a very reasonable price over the phone and gave me an actual appointment time (unlike the big service contract companies that give you a window of four hours).

The morning of my scheduled appointment, I got a call from David saying that they would need to reschedule because the technician was behind schedule. I wasn’t thrilled about having to reschedule, but now that I know the company is completely hands-on and does all their own work, I can understand if things come up. David said that he would come out with his technician for the rescheduled appointment.

David and Oscar were timely, professional, clean and courteous. They removed and replaced the part on my washer and also checked out my dryer. David said that my dryer was very clean as it was, and therefore didn’t need further cleaning. He added that doing unnecessary work can sometimes bring about other issues. He could have easily gone through the motions of cleaning my dryer and charged me for it, but he didn’t. So I ended up paying less than what I had been quoted.

I highly recommend Paul’s Washer & Dryer Repair and only wish they serviced other appliances as well!

Thank You Paul's.

Our Front Load Whirlpool Washer would not drain and our clothes were stock. We called around and it was not easy to actually talk to somone till we came across Paul's Washer and Dryer. After speaking with David we knew we found a good company. David arrived on time this morning and took care of the problem. A sock in the pump and back in business.

Best Service Company in Los Angeles.

The day after Thanksgiving the dryer stops working. We use Citysearch for some many recommendations, we gave Paul's Service a call. They were simply friendly, helpful and were at our home the same day. Rare, so professional, polite and clean. Our dryer is working perfectly and for less than what was quoted.

We could not have asked for more.

Happy Washer = Happy Customer.

We have a happy washer thanks to Paul's Washer and Dryer Repair. Our machine broke yesterday and with two-children not a good thing. We called Sears they gave us a date of 3-weeks, after reading the reviews we gave Paul's a call. David answered the phone he was friendly took his time in getting a description of our machine's ills.

Arriving on time, David was professional, polite and friendly.

Our machine is working for the exact price he quoted.

What is written about Paul's Washer and Dryer Repair is very true.

We strongly recommend this company.

why can't all service people be this helpful?

I called Paul's repair with a dryer problem, and they explained over the phone how I could fix the problem myself. They (not sure whom I was speaking with) answered every question I had and were extremely nice about it. We'll be in the market soon to by a new dishwasher, and I'm going to call Paul's first. Thank you!

A Great Service Company.

Great service provided by Paul's. Our Maytag, the Maytag man does exist he nanme is David, quite working with clothes in it. That is all we needed, Friday, going out of town and a broken washer. We called David based on the reviews, they are accurate. David was honest, clear and local.

At our home within the day, replaced the lid-switch for the price that he quoted.

Knowledgable & Helpful

Paul's Washer & Dryer Repair were knowledgable and very helpful. They attempted to help me over the phone (vs. the other places I called that immediately wanted to charge me a service fee) and were extremely helpful in determining the problem with my dryer over the phone. Here is an honest service with high integrity - I highly recommend them!

Simply A Pleasure.

I can not praise Paul's Service enough. Calling around and trying to get a straight answer on what is charged and what could be wrong was nearly impossible. I found Paul's here on City Search. Spoke with David, he and his brother own the business. He was at our house the same day. The price he quoted is exactly what he charged, he was clean, polite and respectful of our home. We are so glad there are companies like this still around.

These guys are simply the best.

I have to say that my experience was great. I called around and found that Paul's Service was the only company that would take time to explain their fees and what could be wrong. David the co-owner showed up on time and fixed the machine for exactly what he quoted. I have referred several friends to Paul's, these guys are simply the best.

Nice guy but dropped the ball

David from Paul's Washer and Dryer Repair seems like a very nice guy. I bought a used dryer from him a few months ago. Shortly after purchasing it we had issues with it not working properly, as in the clothes took HOURS to dry! David came over and did some work on it that seemed to fix it for a day or two but then the same issue recurred. I tried calling him to get him to come over again and we played phone tag for a few days. He said some personal issues had come up that he had to deal with. At one point I got a "text to land line" message that he would give me a refund for what I'm not sure). Long story short, 2 weeks later I have yet to hear back from him and the dryer did not fix itself.

I think David is a nice, honest guy, and I understand when personal things come up, and I'm a pretty patient guy, but the bottom line is he left us hanging. All he had to do was call (even at midnight!) to let me know what was up. When you leave customers hanging there's no way to fix it. I strongly recommend you avoid doing business with Paul's Washer and Dryer service.
