Be prepared to be yelled at by the owner. If you do choose to shop here, make sure you do not touch the clothing because if you do a witch will yell at you from the second floor. Worst shopping experience ever! You almost feel like it's a joke, you must be on a hidden camera show.

Pros: NONE

Cons: RUDE OWNER

I go to Abbot Kinney at least once every 2 weeks and I used to always stop by this cute little boutique because their clothes is beautiful. But after my last experience here, I am never going back. I had my eye on a pair of Hudson skinny jeans and the salesperson told me they would be 40% off due to the sale and I was so excited because I wanted them for a really long time. I couldn't purchase them for another 2 weeks, but she told me the sale would be going on for the rest of the month so I knew I would be back to buy them. I went back in 2 weeks ready to buy my jeans and I went straight toward them, picked them up, and asked if I could try them on one more time. The salesperson helped me to a fitting room and I asked if they were still 40% off and before the salesperson could answer me the extremely rude and unfriendly owner responded "No, they are only 20% off now." I mentioned that I was there two weeks ago and I had been told they would still be 40% off and she talked down to me from the 2nd floor balcony and said, "Well you should've gotten them two weeks ago then, huh? They are definitely not 40% off." I felt so uncomfortable after listening to her unfriendly and demeaning tone of voice so I left the store so bummed and I no longer wanted to buy the jeans. I've worked for Nordstrom as a summer job for 2 years now and I am very familiar with what good customer service is and this place DOES NOT have it. I am never going back and do not intend on giving them any service in the near future.

Pros: Great collection of dresses

Cons: The owner is extremely unfriendly.

The energy of Abbot Kinney continues to surprise me upon every visit. As do the bad attitudes, and for that reason, Claudia Milan is #1 for arrogance, poor service and just an overall bad shopping experience. If you are unlucky enough to have the shop's owner there when you walk in, you will know exactly what I mean. Poor service and mediocrity - I would rather pay more to be treated better. Much better.

I love spending the day down on Abbot Kinney! It is the best way for a girl to feel like a lady in this city! Getting my hair done, a massage, some lunch at Stroh's and some shopping with Claudia always makes me feel like a whole new woman. A lot has changed at the boutique over the last 6 months and there seems to be a whole new spirit at Claudia Milan. I think it has to do with the new sales associates and the art exhibitions on the walls. The Claudia Milan boutique has always seem to me to be a gallery of sorts especially with the fabulous dresses she carries and the exquisite hand bags - which I just can't get enough of! - and now it seems to at a whole new level. I highly recommend shopping with Claudia and her team - you will definitely leave feeling like you and your wardrobe have been rejuvenated!

Pros: new pieces in weekly, art exhibits and monthly receptions on 1st Fridays

Cons: there are only 4 seasons a year!

Walking through Abbot Kinney on a mission and was so thrilled to come across this gem of a boutique. Immediately encountered friendly and helpful sales staff. Needed a dress to impress for a big do this weekend and not only did I walk away with a killer outfit but also some great styling tips, helping me coordinate my purchases for future uses. The staff encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and the results were amazing. Haven't had such a full service experience in such a long time. Can't wait to go back for more! LA needs more stores like Claudia Milan!!!

Pros: Fanatastic selection, HELPFUL service

Cons: I need another event for a good reason to go back!

Word on the street is that the owner does not permit customers to "touch the clothes". That would be one thing if the clothes were couture, but this shop does not sell anything close. The service is among the worst I have ever experienced - there is no need for salespeople, or the owner for that matter, to give clients an attitude when the garments themselves don't warrant such behavior. There are many more boutiques in LA (Aura, BNY, Minne T's and Des Kohan) that offer exceptional service and better-made garments. I will never step foot into this place again.

Pros: across the street from a great clothing store

Cons: the service, the garments, the owner, the ambiance -

If you really need a beautiful dress for a special occasion or a personal stylist to help you recreate your life, this is the boutique to check out. Patron Claudia Milan is a discerning artist. Her collection is impeccable and has attracted many industry executive women along with stars. Her wears are mostly covered in clear plastic bags and she is very insistent on helping you if you are sincere. Not welcomed are gropers, boardwalk hippies or rude bargain shoppers -- Ross for less in on Lincoln. However, if you are a woman that can appreciate beautiful art and clothing, Claudia Milan is a hands straight forward stylist. She will never let you walk out with an item that is not going to catapult you to your next level. Most repeat customer’s state, “i have had so many compliments from all the things i purchased from you!” So be welcomed but do not waist her time.

The owner is really nasty. There are some interesting dresses, but the sales help won't let customers shop in peace. Feel free to shop in there for clothes, but you're not allowed to touch the fabric! Hard to pick something to try on when you're not allowed to touch it.

Pros: Great Selection

Cons: Impossible Parking & HORRIBLE Service

I live in Venice Beach and appreciate the ability to go to Abbot Kinney and benefit from the friendly and personlized service offered from its unique & exclusively boutiques. For this reason I was completely shocked when I went to Claudia Milan. Claudia was working when I arrived. When I asked her to help me locate the specific kind of items I was looking for, she barked from her 2nd floor office, "all we have is out!" Just as I was about to try on a dress, she told me that I'd better be ready to buy if I was going to put the thing on! She said, "dont come in here crying in 2 weeks if we dont have the dress. It will sell fast." Her whole point was: DONT TRY IT ON IF YOU'RE NOT GONNA BUY IT! But with merchandise ranging from $800 upwards, how could a consumer not try the item on? I was appauled by her agressive attitude. I have never encoutered anyone so rude in my numerous experiences shopping at the wonderful shops in Abbot Kinney. I would warn anyone to reconsider patronizing such a rude boutique owner who treats her prospective clients like dirt! Stay away from Claudia and her tacky boutique!!!!!!

Pros: Can't think of any...

Cons: Rudest service in LA
