I have known Dr.Don Buck for over 2 years. I have been getting acupuncture from him for 2 years. He has the lightest, most healing touch I have experienced. He is a gifted listener and really wants to be sure that his treatment is gently offered and well-received. His office is a calm environment where you begin to relax the moment you walk in. He has treated me for back problems, chemo related side effects and anxiety . The herbs he prescribed for me for chemo related side effect have kept me from going on pharmaceutical medication and helped me regain my energy and appetite again. I cannot say enough about his training and skills and his desire to understand the full picture of what is happening in lives of his patients.

I'VE BEEN GOING TO SILK ROADS FOR THE PAST COUPLE MONTHS AND HAVE HAD AMAZING RESULTS FROM ACUPUNCTURE AND MASSAGE TREATMENTS FROM DON. ITS ALSO A GREAT LOCATION AND DECOR.

I was definitely an acupuncture cynic -- didn't see how sticking a bunch of needles in my hand would help the excruciating pain of planters fasciitis in my foot. I still don't get how it works, but it worked for me. It wasn't instantaneous, it took several treatments over a short series of time -- but now I'm walking pain free. Doctor Buck was very knowledgeable, and even did some complimentary sessions when a succession of treatments was in order. They really do care about your health and well being, and someone who truly values the patient over the payday...is a refreshing change. Highly, highly recommend.

Pros: Tranquil setting, convenient parking in the rear.

I was riddled with pain in both my calf and hip from sporting inuries. Tried regular medical care and physical therapy to no avail. That is, until by referral I went to Dr. Buck's center. After just a couple of treatments, I felt so much better that I was able to re-start my normal activities. Today, all the pain is gone and I am completely back to my regular workouts -- Dr. Buck's knowledge and care along with his professional staff made it all possible. I highly recommend this Center to anybody needing treatment for aches, pains, or injuries. The care given to patients, not to mention the office relaxed and friendly ambiance is just the best. I give it a 10!

my anxiety and digestion issues had been spiraling out of control. within a few treatments i felt back on track and i could feel that my body was functioning at a higher level again. i could also feel that my circulation had improved and i no longer had cold, clammy hands and feet. Dr. Buck is a highly qualified healer and his services are very worthwhile!

I had been suffering from insomnia and heard acupuncture treatments can be very effective for this problem. However, I knew very little about acupuncture, perhaps just like you, so I decided to do some "homework" on the internet along with contacting my health care provider (Blue Cross). They provided me with a list of many acupuncturists within a 10 mile radius or so of my residence. Since there were a lot of acupuncturists on the list, I went on to City Search and read the reviews, just like you are doing now. I read some very encouraging, believable reviews about Don Buck and that was enough. I went in and found Silk Road "as advertised" and found Don to be most professional, most knowledgable and he made me feel completely comfortable as a new patient who had never received acupuncture. He took time to get to know me a bit, my lifestyle, explained how acupuncture works (which I found most interesting) and this gave me confidence in him and the treatments I was about to receive. I began a series of treatments under his skilled care and I'm very satisified with the progress and results I've seen so far. Not only that, I've really come to like Don as a person and from getting to know him, he really and sincerely cares and takes a genuine interest in his patients. Silk Road is sort of "off the beaten path" BUT is easily accessible with free parking in a private area behind his offices. The place itself is immaculately clean and, despite having some needles stuck in you, I have found the surroundings very relaxing. I wholeheartedly recommend Don Buck at Silk Road and he will be my acupuncturist of choice for any and all future treatments for my insomnia or any other problems that hopefully won't arise.

The greatest treatment one could wish for. Very calm soothing atmosphere. Don is a great. His treatments have helped me with several health problems that had bothered me for a very long time. I feel like a new person now. I highly recommend acupunture.

Pros: Very accomodating as far as scheduling appointments.

I love the serene atmosphere of Silk Road and Dr. Buck is really a wonderful person. I received acupuncture treatments to help me sleep better and since the treatments, I am sleeping better than I have in years. I give Silk Road my highest recommendation.

I WAS VACATIONING IN LA AND TOLD MY SISTER HOW I HAD BEEN SUFFERING FROM A NECK PAIN FOR OVER 4 YEARS. SHE RECOMMENDED DR. BUCK. HE WAS MOST ACCOMODATING AND I IMMEDIATELY AFTER HIS TREATMENT I FELT BETTER. I WAS SO IMPRESSED THAT I ASKED HIM IF HE COULD DO ANYTHING ABOUT A PAIN I HAD ON THUMB, AS A RESULT OF OVER USING MY BLACKBERRY AND A PAIN IN THE HEAL OF MY FOOT. HE DID SOME SORT OF TAPING AND ADVISED ME ON WHAT I NEEDED TO DO IN THE FUTURE...I AM CURED!!! I VISIT EVERY YEAR AND INTEND TO VIST DR. BUCK AGAIN. I NEED TO STOP SMOKING AND LOOSE WEIGHT.

As a chiropractor, I have a short list of top-notch health care practitioners that I trust and Dr. Don Buck is one of them. I refer patients to him with total confidence that they will be well cared for. His dedication to helping people is rare. I appreciate his ability to assess and treat patients from a Chinese Medicine perspective, while also having a strong knowledge and understanding of Western Medicine a truly integrated approach. This way I know a patient will always be safe in Dons hands. I have also had the pleasure of being Dons patient as well. I admit to being mildly needle-phobic, but his technique was superb which made the overall experience pleasant and relaxing. The best part? Results immediate pain relief.
