I had a lovely rejuvenating massage here. I was given a gift certificate and I would definitely go back.

I visited dtox day spa a few weeks ago and stepped into relaxation and beauty all at once. I had booked the dtox facial with Lila and by the time my session was over she had taught me the importance of real skin care and how important it is for me to take care of my skin..now! We decided to upgrade to the microdermabrasion facial I absolutely LOVED it...Lila talked me through the whole thing and made it so comfortable for me. I ended up getting a series. I will be back to continue working with Lila and taking better care of my skin. Thanks, dtox..
Pros: Great customer service , staff was all so friendly
Cons: Parking is a little tough

In short, Dtox was fabulous! I've had massages and other services at another well known Spa in Pasadena and Dtox was even better. Much more cozy. I felt like I had been going there for years! Anna, the girl who did my massage turned me into a new woman! I have already recommended Dtox to 3 of my girls and they are all planning on making appointments. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dtox! I WILL be back and its SOOOOO close to home. We likey!

i went here to treat myself,"a birthday pamper for myself" it was a break from my busy schedule,, while having my treatment,,it was a very solemn time alone with yourself,i like the fact that renee (my esthetician) gave me that moment of silence, a very wonderful experience, but a little flaw is that when she's putting something in my face i feel suprise because its cold, i wish she'll mention it first. but over all,, i found a place i would be to relax.
Pros: parking @ the back
Cons: no hair dryer and mirror after facial

Love the atmosphere in this place and I really like my esthetician. I've gotten about five facials here, very gentle but effective. My only complaint is the women's locker room. There's just one bathroom. If there's anything that will mess with your "Calgon, take me away!" flow, it's having someone knocking on a frosted glass door and pacing outside while you're trying to get dressed and savor the final moments of calm serenity before you head out into Glenfeliz traffic.
Pros: Location, interior design in spa area
Cons: Ladies' locker room (one bathroom, narrow dressing area)

Love this place. What an amazing retreat so close to home. go there and see for yourself. I have nothing bad to say about this haven in atwater village....

Being an Atwater Village resident I am thrilled to have this little slice of heaven practically in my backyard. Mohammad gives incredible, intuitive and loving massages. Their straight up Dtox Massage (80 minutes is a must!) is the perfect mixture of swedish and hot stone. The full hot stone isn't my cup of tea as it's rather boring, but to each his own. Finally the best part of Dtox has got to be their Happy Hours every 1st Friday of the month. Uh-mazing! For $40 you can get any type of treatment you want, gab with your friends to deep house music, drink wine and eat delish cheese and cracker assortments, and get your weekend started off properly. It's even better if you can stumble home when you live in Atwater!
Pros: Quiet & serene, pure indulgence, excellent management!
Cons: No jacuzzi

I just had a Hot LavaStone Massage and was expecting to just have a relaxing experience. Instead I had one of the most amazing healing experiences in my life. I was a Medical Massage Therapist for 18 years in New York and Los Angeles , so I'm very critical when it comes to technique. My therapist had great timing, pressure, form and continuity. The combination of warm stones that relaxed and opened up the muscles plus Swedish massage was a perfect combination. I'm sold on the bodywork and the beautiful serene and tastefully executed interior design of the Spa itself. Bravo guys!!!!

Great spa with a great atmosphere, with 1 surprise....they don't service brazillian waxing! I called the other day and to my surprise, it is not offered here. What professional, beautiful space, that offers facials, doesn't have this type of service on thier menu? Well, this spa apparently doesn't. I'm almost afraid to get my eyebrows waxed here. But I do have to say the one time I came in for a massage, it was wonderful! Wish I could come here for all my "spa" needs.

Best spa in town!!! No BS, No silly frills, just a very modern very ZEN atmosphere. Massage therapists are amazing, they only seem to hire experienced, super professional and talented people who really know how to customize the massage to your needs. The Signature is ultra-relaxing (they use hot packs, a scalp treatment from Philip B, foot scrub, aaaahhhh), Hot Stone is the BOMB!!!!!! They're also fantastic with therapeutic massage for sports injuries, or any on-going issues (like my neck wrecked from a car accident). Truly, I can't think of a better place in LA for the money and location. Dry sauna and steam are great before the massage, and they serve fresh cherries and brownies in the relaxation area. Bring a book and melt away for hours. Also, I love that there isnt ANY attitude, just friendly folks in a great neighborhood spa. Highly recommended!
Pros: Easy Parking, good prices, very ZEN
