Special Sushi House

Special find in a tucked away corner of Bel-Air. Great service - smiling wait staff and there when you need them. Top notch sushi - fresh and unique choices on the menu along with the standards that I have to have like spicy tuna roll cut. Everything we ordered was delicious! Excellent sake choices. Can go early with the kids, they are very welcoming. I was really impressed by this awesome restaurant in my own backyard!

Contemporary yet traditional, this elegant space combines stone, wood and Japanese art motifs. Dramatic lighting illuminates the local gentry and celebs like Heather Locklear and Teri Hatcher. The small sushi bar was created from hand-chiseled and torched granite, with a large slab of walnut cut from a single tree. Giacomino Drago (Piccolo Paradiso) has crafted a fusionistic vision, melding traditional sushi with Mediterranean cuisines with items such as salmon-wrapped papaya with caviar, and lobster dynamite.
