Ashley Paige is inspired by the free and easy aesthetic of the early '70s when designing her teeny hand-knit and macraméd bikinis, one-piece suits and cover-ups made popular by Kate Hudson and Liv Tyler. Her studio hums with the sound of sewing machines in back, while in the succulent-dotted, pink-walled front room gals try on off-the-rack tops and bottoms for custom consultation and fittings. Orders can take two weeks around holidays, one to two days otherwise.
