Living in San Francisco and Marin County, I can say Sumi's offers an wonderful choice of select designer jewelry and handbags (and more) from local and international artists. Pieces are reasonably priced, but offer a great value for therir unique artistic value. Go into Sumi's knowing that if you need to find something special for somone, she's sure to help you find just the gift from her extensive collection.

I just found my favorite jewelry store

This is a beautiful little store w/ the most wonderful jewelry, better than Tiffany's; I mean it. Tasteful and amazing unusual beautiful things. Not just jewelry, housewares, furniture, lots to see and buy.

I love SUMI'S! (and the "wishlist"!)

Going into Sumi's is like going on a treasure hunt- where you are IMMEDIATELY rewarded with treasure!!

From the beatiful handmade purses to the amazing jewelry made by local artisans, there's always a gift to be found. . . . especially a gift for yourself! I appreciate having a store in the neighborhood that has such great merchandise AND service.

The "wishlist" is a 4x6 card all for you- to record items you'd like to think about purchasing (or would like for someone else to come in and purchase for you :) It's a helpful tool to remember the super cute thing you saw the last time you were in, but now can't quite recall. . . .

Anywho- SUMI'S ROCKS. You should go shop there.

Every time I visit Los Angeles I make time to viisit Sumi's to see what new items she has to offer. Gifts for my wife, beautiful items for the house, there is always something.

Very artistic, one-of-a-kind gifts. Everything is so artistic and well made. I always have a hard time limiting what I buy since I love so much that is on display. The owner is so helpful too. Let's keep this wonderful store in Silverlake going strong!

From the moment you walk into Sumi’s you will undoubtedly feel the love and care that has gone into selecting the amazing work you see there. The hand made jewelry selection is exquisite and unlike anything I’ve seen in other stores. Each piece has a unique personality, so whether shopping for myself or someone else, I have always left feeling I have found something truly special.

Handmade affordable and unique!

Sumi's is the best shop for all of your giftie needs, and you will inevitably find something for yourself every time you shop there.

All of her items are handcrafted by artisans, No "made in China by tiny hands" junk here. Every piece I have ever given as a gift has been mentioned every time I see the giftee, and my best friend has to visit every time she comes into town.

There is a wide range of prices and pieces, ranging from tiny and delicate to chunky, huge stones and bold wearable art looks.

Sumi is warm, sweet, and very unpretentious. There is no hard selling here-feel free to walk in and peruse, and she will not breathe down your neck!

It's a fabulous little store, you will be delighted!

Beautiful, unique things...

Sumi's always has something I love... whether it be a piece of jewelry or a purse or a serving tray or something. Great place to buy a gift when you don't know what you're looking for. Sumi herself who owns the story is very helpful and low pressure. They often have things ahead of the trend. Many gifts are very affordable.

Great shopping on the eastern end of Sunset Blvd.

I discovered Sumi's after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. I couldn't resist purchasing one of the one-of -a-kind fabric purses. The colors and textures go with everything! I have since been back several times to purchase more purses and other accessories for gifts, and have delightfully added more to my wardrobe. What also brings me back to the store is the warmth and friendliness of Sumi. Her store is a relaxing, contemporary, and comfortable shopping experience. It's a true shopping find on the eastern leg of Sunset Blvd.

• Pros: Ambience/service
• Cons: No parking lot. Sometimes have to circle the block to find a space, but it's worth the effort.

Drench your entire group of friends and your pad with goodies from this well designed shop on Sunset.

You can find everything from handcrafted Brazilian gold jewelry to a cool flask for your man.

Sumi has adorable handbags o' plenty and amazing art too.

I am a local realtor in the Silver Lake area and anytime I need an extra special groovy gift for my clients,

Sumi delivers........need a quicky gifty poo? Well run baby run, because Sumi's the one!
