Great experience

I am glad that I have Dr. B as my primary physician. He is really concern about my health and also quick response on my question. I would recommend him as one of the great physician in Los Angeles area.

Exemplary Care Provider

I am new to the area and went on-line in search for a new primary care physician. I found numerous rave reviews for Dr. B. I called the office expecting a wait-list to make an appointment and was delighted to be given an appointment for the same day.

The office staff is welcoming, helpful and even bi-lingual. They did a spectacular job of emailing me all necessary forms for my appointment.

Dr. B did an excellent job of communicating with me as a patient in helping to determine my needs and addressing my concerns.

I highly recommend the exemplary care of Dr. B and his staff.

What a True Medical Professional!

Dr. B is incredibly thorough and takes every precaution imaginable. I am truly lucky to have located him. He has a very calm and reassuring demeanor. He is incredibly communicative and avails himself whenever I have questions. This is quite an unusually glowing trait in the medical profession. Both my fiance and I go to him. You can't go wrong with Dr. B. He's always the consummate medical professional. Thank you for such great service and attention.

A Consummate and Charming Doctor

I was so glad to find Dr. Borookhim. I've lived in L.A for quite a while and have gone to a number of doctors over the years, but only when I met Dr. Borookhim did I feel that I had finally found my doctor. In his office I not only felt important and cared about, but also that I was in extremely capable hands. Plus he's young, which means I can look forward to a lifetime of care from a truly phenomenal doctor.

Exceptional

I was referred to Dr Borookhim to be cleared for surgery and by the time I left his office I had decided he would be my doctor. It was extremely refreshing to finally meet a doctor who puts care and health of patients first.

Two weeks prior to visiting Dr Borookhim, I had seen a doctor at UCLA. For starters getting the appointment with the UCLA doctor was like pulling teeth and worse, she was scarcely in the room long enough to listen to the reason for my visit. No wonder she missed a vital diagnosis which Dr Borookhim pointed out within 2 minutes of observation.

Dr Borookhim was very patient, he listened and answered every question I posed to him, and trust me I had a lot of questions. He was personally involved and hands on from start to finish. He did not just refer me; His office personally handled my referrer, schedule and ensured I was seen ASAP. Dr Borookhim personally followed up and monitored my progress via email and phone, which in my opinion beats house calls.

He is very detail oriented and professional and still manages to be very charming. I was completely amazed when he got pen and paper and illustrated the reason for my irregular heart beat. It?s a good felling to have a doctor I can rely on and I am extremely delighted to have Dr Borookhim as my doctor.

Above & Beyond

This doctor has called me back (promptly) even when it wasn't an emergency and he was out-of-state. Recently, I was in a lot of pain and called for an appointment. He was leaving early and couldn't initially accommodate me. Ultimately, he drove back to his office at the end of the day just to see me. In addition, I was impressed - and relieved- by the fact that when I apologized for the inconvenience, he didn't use it as an opportunity to make me wrong/glorify himself for going the extra mile for a patient.

I've been this doctor's patient for less than a year and generally am very healthy, so it's not like we go back a long way or that I'm a VIP patient in that I generate a lot of revenue for him. He's just a really decent guy!

In addition to being prompt for appointments and accessible (he uses e-mail, as well), I also notice that Dr. Borookhim isn't the kind of doctor who tries to soak you for additional fees when it comes to telling you your test results. The more I see, the more I like about this doctor... So yes, I would definitely recommend him!

• Cons: if you're looking for someone who believes in alternative medicine, you'll have to go elsewhere

He is open to discussion and seeks and listens to patient input. As my medical team leader, his referrals have been excellent. Aside, his office is run in a professional and efficient manner.

An Amazing Doctor !!!

My father-in-law is a petient of Dr . Borookhim and since he has been his patient he has been as healthy and active as he was 20 years ago. Last year he was taken to the emergency department in Cedars-Sinai hopsital for very low sugar level, there my husband got to know about Dr Borookhim. The first time when my father-in-law went to see Dr .Borookhim he was barely able to walk, in a nut shell he was not in a very good shape. But since then his condition started to improve .His regular doctor before just used to see him once every few months and never discussed anything about his condition with us . This is never the case with Dr. Borookhim , he makes it a point to discuss his medications , his test results and any changes in his condition with us. Not only that ,he personally calls and explains the changes he makes with his medication and the reason for the changes. Dr. Borookhim is not only a dedicated physician , but also a kind , polite and an amazing human being , which are the qualities that makes him a "GREAT" doctor . Our family feels very "fortunate" to have known him as a physician and as a person.

The MARACULOUS Dr.B!!!

DR.B SAVED MY LIFE!!!

I recently went to have out patient surgery at Cedars-Sinai Hospital and ended up staying for three days. That is where I meet the amazing Dr. Borookhim. While I was having out patient surgery on my knee, my sugars escalated and Dr. B was called in to care for me. It was then that I found out that I have type 2 Diabetes. Since that day my life changed tremendously and Dr. B was there for me. His gentle calm manner and diligence has guided me with this new way of life. What really makes me feel comfortable about Dr.B is his professionalism and caring demeanor when your in his office. I really appreciate his no nonsense approach rather than talking in circles in a language only doctors can understand. I especially like the way he takes time with each patient rather than herding us in and out, plenty of time to ask questions. If you need to get a hold of him, he is available all the time either by phone or internet and returns all calls so quickly. He has impressed me so much that he will be my doctor for life and to top that off I live in Las Vegas,NV.He is definetly worth the drive! Like we say in Vegas; Dr. B is a 5 STAR, 5 DIAMOND rating! Cheers to Dr. B!
