While at UCLA for 4 years I always passed by this place, located right in the middle of Westwood Village. It doesn't have the flashy lights like its more high-profile neighbors. But during my senior year I wandered in and tried one of the Reese's Peanut Butter Pocket donuts and I was instantly hooked. You will not find cookie-cutter variety donuts here. No, sir, only the most creative and delicious donuts end up in the display case. The prices are a little higher than you would find at your local neighborhood Winchell's or Krispy Kreme, but the price paid is well worth it. I find a donut matched up with a pint of milk one of the best afternoon snacks in LA. Next time you are in Westwood, make sure to stop by and say hi to Stan. He's still there, pumping out the best donuts I've come across.
