BEST and CHEAPEST cookies anywhere!!!
by foodie114
The cookies are the BEST and they're 3 for only $1!!! It's also in a great location, right near a whole bunch of shops, movie theaters, and restaurants. Their ice cream sandwiches are great too. A definite must if you live in L.A..
- Pros: Cookies, ice cream, price, location
- Cons: Street parking can be hard if it's a busy night (but there are pay lots)
Yummmy!!! I want one right now!

I absolutely love this place. Cookies are good because it's always FRESH! this place is soooo busy that the oven just does not stop and you are ALWAYS getting new fresh, warm cookies. Regardless of the type you choose, it's so good, delicious and affordable! Totally recommend. Don't be afraid of the long lines, it's worth the wait!
Over-RATED is an understatment!!

I can't believe how many "sheep" buy into this place. It's a cookie, a FAIR cookie, nothing extraordinary.
If people think this is a good cookie, they haven't had one. Mrs. Fields beats them hands down in my opinion. I've had just as good of a cookie at the grocery store.
Awesome Food

Our food came out on time and was prepared just right. I would recommend this place to a hungry person the portions are huge! Service as ok but the food made up for it! I’d go here again for sure.
Amazing cookies!

The line is always wrapped around the corner but the cookies are definitely worth it! Nice and warm and delicious!

If you love Cookies, Ice Cream, and all for just under $2 bucks then you owe it to yourself to check this place out. You will not be disappointed!
OMG OBSESSED!

Diddy Reise is the reason I gained the freshman 15 when I became a student at UCLA. Ice-cream cookie sandwiches for a 1.50? Deal. The lack of a full 5 stars is due to the fact that there is always a line no matter what time of day/night. Also because sometimes the cookies are a bit harder.
I love the simplicity of the place though, its cookies, brownies (no one gets them) and ice cream. They use to serve hotdogs but that stopped because it was totally unnecessary.
Oh, and I must take a moment to say, try the Hawaiian Ice!
It is DELICIOUS and incredibly refreshing on a hot day.
cheap and delicious

3 cookies of your choice for $1. Ice cream sandwiches (pick your two cookies and the middle ice cream) for like $1.25 or $1.50. Can't go wrong, ever. How could anybody ever complain
There is something like 12 flavors of cookies, idk how many of ice cream. Smacked in the center of Westwood you'd expect something more expensive. Cheap!
Look out, you might want to try to live off of cookies
- Pros: cheap and delicious!
- Cons: long line (moves fast). Obviously unhealthy
LLOOVEE IT!
by jillbanner
Of course there would be a line for this (but it does go by fast). Cookies and ice cream is so yummy! So simple to make, but it's not the same. AND it's only $1.50. Whenever I'm in the area, I HAVE to stop by Diddy Riese. There's not really any place to sit, but it's a good desert to have while walking around Westwood.
- Pros: PRICE
- Cons: Line guarenteed
REVIEW FROM CITYSEARCH's 3BUCKBITES DICTATOR
by KRamos
Perhaps best known among college students starving for its sweet relief from studying, Diddy Riese is a landmark in UCLA's Westwood. It is one of the first places introduced to newly-accepted freshmen, and rightfully so, as Diddy's ten varieties of freshly-baked cookies and twelve flavors of Dreyers premium grand ice cream deserve the attention. The best parts: sinfully cheap prices and late night hours. Ice cream sandwiches - any combo of two cookies and a generous scoop of ice cream smooshed between them - are only $1.50 and a perfect late-night treat. My go-to favorite: oatmeal raisin with espresso chip ice cream.
