Most comprehensive, specific recovery treatment for herniated discs I've encountered!

I've been an ongoing herniated disc sufferer since my crazy days in college of excess in everything we did, including heavy weight training. I've had to revisit the agonizing pain of 4 and a 1/2 slipped discs time and time again over the past 20 years, with many different styles of treatment and many different styles of Chiropractors.

Doctor Sylvia Deily has undoubtedly been the most effective physician I've seen and has created a recovery program that is specific to my personality and focus. Her quality of personal interpretation of how to most effectively interface her treatment suggestions with her patients personal needs and interests sets her apart from the rest.

Doctor Deily has given me the confidence and strength throughout my core area to lift free weights again, continue to ride motorcycles, hike and rock climb, and to take back the excitement of an active lifestyle, all the while taking away the fear of relapse and the daunting thought of surgery!

I recommend her without hesitation as Chiropractor elite in her field offering care with the utmost integrity!

I LOVE Sylvia. I'm one of those people with conditions who no doctor-- western or alternative or any kind, can figure out. Sylvia is certainly an exception. She works with me in the most intelligent way possible: LISTENING to my experience and my OWN knowledge of my body. Sylvia will even pull out anatomy books and show me what is going on in my body! Together with my self awareness and her years of medical training, we have actualy begun to signifigantly heal my knee pain! Oh, also, Sylvia thinks "outside the box" and will say when she doesn't have an answer (which, of course, no human being always has). Then we figure something (some stretch, some contraption) out really creatively. I absolutely reccommend her as a decent human being and an intelligent healer!!!

• Pros: Never had trouble parking, always treated with respect and care, very accomodating of my hectic, changing schedule

Feel great. Get your life back-get it, back?

Hey, meeting Sylvia has been a blessing to me. I tried different things for my lower back pain including other chiropractors, but they seemed to only be interested in adjusting my wallet. She showed me that with a little dedication and the right goals( mine was to get back on the basketball court) it is possible to relieve the pain in your body. I have been going to her for about 5 months now and my only regret is that I didn't meet her much sooner.

• Pros: guides you through self healing, very knowledgeable, relaxing, work-out room and equipment
• Cons: none to think of

Unlike ANY Chiropractor I've ever seen

I've seen many chiropractors in my life, but never found 1 as thorough as Sylvia. I'd had chronic knee pains for many years and in only 2 sessions Sylvia identified the problem and started me on exercises that have strenghtened my knees and legs. None of my orthopedic doctors were capable of finding my problem. Don't wait another day, get your pain treated by Sylvia today!

I thought I'd just have to live with the pain - and I was wrong!

Back in December of 2005 I fell down some stairs at my work. I really did a number on my right knee. Weeks of physical therapy and diligent self-treatment led to a reduction in the swelling, increased leg strength, and the ability to walk normally again. But eleven months later I was still suffering with knee pain that could go from nagging to excruciating with just lite pressure. It was like have a pain button on the outside of my right knee.

The doctors I consulted, backed up with a MRI, couldn?t identify a specific problem. Maybe it resulted from the mild arthritis that the MRI picked up. So while seeing Dr. Deily for an unrelated injury, I happened to off-handedly mentioned the problem with my right knee, figuring that it was something I would just have to live with. She asked to, ?take a look at it,? wondered if she could ,?try something? and then asked me to ?breath through the discomfort? as she applied some ?soft tissue? work. It was painful. And then it wasn?t! The pain was gone. And it?s still gone! I still can?t believe it. There are many elements to what makes working with Dr. Deily a positive and enjoyable experience, but the bottom line is she gets results. I un-reservedly recommend here to anyone who needs help struggling with chronic pain or an injury.

Truly committed to her patients' well-being

From my very first visit to Dr. Sylvia Deily I knew she was something special. She was recommended to me several years ago by a yoga instructor for a shoulder injury I had at the time and I feel truly fortunate to have found her and be under her care. I have been to other chiropractors in the past, as well as physical therapists and an orthopedist, and never gotten the personalized care, compassion and timely results that Ive gotten with Sylvia. Whereas most other chiropractors would spend about 5 minutes with me doing basic adjustments (cracking) that always seemed to be the same whatever my symptoms were, Dr. Deily takes the time to really listen to my concerns, offer explanations, and thoroughly diagnose my problem. She then treats the problem through a combination of soft tissue massage, gentle adjustments and a personalized program of at-home exercises that continue to facilitate recovery. No matter what I present her with, Im continually amazed at how quickly shes able to zero in on the problem and provide relief, particularly since I tend to let things go on for a while before seeking help! Like the time I had a headache literally every day for a month from the time Id wake up until mid-afternoon. I was convinced I had a brain tumor or an aneurysm but after three treatments, no more headaches. Most recently Ive seen her for knee pain. I have total confidence and trust in Dr. Deily and can wholeheartledly give her the highest of recommendations.

Getting to the root

As a practitioner of Oriental medicine (acupuncture and herbs), I have grown to appreciate the inter-connectedness of all medical disciplines. It wasn't until I met Sylvia Deily, However, that I gained an immense respect for Chiropractic treatments. Not only is Sylvia an expert at diagnosing and treating the interdependent muscle, joint, and nervous system problems of her patients, but she also has an amazing healing and nurturing aura about her. I have been both a patient of hers and a health provider who has referred many of my own patients to Sylvia. I have had nothing but positive results both in addressing my own running injuries - finding the root of my problems - and from the feedback my patients have given me about Sylvia and her methods. She gets to the source and gives each patient a full-body understanding of what problems may exist. She focuses on both the sturctural and functional causes of a patient's problem, and wants to solve the problems with as few treatments as possible. She is a gem!

I see Sylvia Deily for a variety of cronic back and neck problems. Her testing and questioning before treatment is very complete. When she works on me or prescribes an exercise it gets to the trouble spot like an arrow. It is rare to meet a person in any field with such a large range of knowledge to draw from. She is definately at the top of her field. I have complete trust and faith in Sylvia and have found her to be a gem of a human being as well as a top notch DC.
