Simply put, if you want a gorgeous and comfortable couch and you want to buy from a place you can trust from an intelligent and informed salesperson...go to The Sofa Company and work with Ryan!! I just bought my first brand new couch. I was so afraid of not making the right choice, that although I feel in love with this couch when I saw it in December, I shopped around all over the place until I found myself back at The Sofa Co five months later. Learn from my mistake and don't bother going anywhere else. There isn't any place better...they have the best selection, the best warranty, and the best quality. I worked with Ryan who was amazing. Such a great guy and made the whole process so easy and fun. Thank you Ryan! Thank you Sofa Company!!!

I recently moved and decided to abandon all my old furniture for new furniture. I started out just looking for a sectional and knew what I wanted, but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I was ecstatic when I found The Sofa Company because I was able to customize everything from the fabric, legs and piping and have them "build" the sectional I had envisioned. Although I've looked around quite a bit for furniture, I always seem to end up back there. I've since then bought two chairs from them and am anticipating going back to finish furnishing my place. They built my furniture on the early side of their estimate and delivered my furniture well within the time range given. All of the people at The Sofa Company are friendly, knowledgeable and exceptionally helpful.

Pros: ability to customize furniture to specifications

not only did i buy one sofa from the sofa comany but a sectional as well. my first purchase with them was a extreamly comfortable sofabed for my guest room. the customer service was great, i received both my sofa's in a timely manner and couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend the Sofa company to anyone who need a specific size, color or any other custom detail on their sofa!

Pros: you can customize every detail!

My sofa was delivered a month ago and the compliments haven't stopped! I just love this place. Where else offers such a selection of sofa styles, fabrics, leg options, etc? I was able to get the perfect sofa that matched my style. To all those people that wrote bad reviews, I'd like to share my last sofa buying experience. My last sofa from Pottery Barn was... 1. way more expensive. 2. since Pottery Barn offered the sofa in only 5 colors, I settled on the color and just haven't ever been happy about it 3. Pottery barn took 4 months to deliver (The Sofa Company delivered my custom sofa in 3 weeks!) I've already recommended this place to all my friends. I'm a customer for life!

You know these guys have enough great ratings, you'd think they could handle some criticism without rudeness. Since whatever I write will be mischaracterized in their response, all I can say is that these guys have a lot to learn about phone etiquette and customer service. I have never rated a business before but my experience with these guys was so frustrating that I signed up just to warn people: do not shop here unless you have a ton of patience.

Pros: Nice salespeople and delivery personnel.

Cons: Everything else.

Had a really positive conversation with the customer. We came to an understanding and I apologize for my initial response, which in retrospect, was a little offensive. The customer provided me with some good feedback which we will use to continually improve our communication and service to our customers. I thank her and hope she enjoys her new sofa!

I went to The Sofa Co based on a coworker's recommendation.....I placed an order with them on 4/10 and was told it would be completed in 2-3 weeks. I got a call yesterday (exactly 3 weeks from when I ordered -- yay!) saying it was ready and they could deliver it tomorrow (which is now today, Friday) from 6 to 9 am. Awesome, right? Too bad whoever I spoke with put Saturday in their system even though they told me Friday. I took the morning off of work, waited in my apartment, and when no one showed up in the time I was told over the phone, I left 2 messages asking where the delivery was, assuming it was running late. On my third call, I finally got a hold of someone who told me it is in their system for tomorrow. When I asked them what they could do for my inconvenience (the person I spoke with not only said TOMORROW yesterday but also said FRIDAY, both of which are TODAY) and my taking time off of work and rearranging my schedule, I was told they cannot do anything -- their system has the correct information. And the earliest a supervisor could get back to me is Monday (in 3 days!). Wow, they appreciate my business, don't they? Unfortunately, my handwritten note in my planner doesn't count and my recollection of our conversation. I now know to tape record my conversations with them in the future. Uhhh....what future? No matter how great a product they may have (I don't even know if it is good since I haven't gotten it yet), if you offer bad customer service, there is no way I am returning or recommending you to anyone. Good luck to anyone who decides to order with them -- ask them to send you a screen shot of their system when confirming delivery so you have "back up".

While we firmly believe that we did not do anything wrong in this situation, we fully understand the customer's frustation at wasting time waiting for a delivery that was not going to happen. No offense to the cable guys, but we have all been there... To address this rare, but certainly disappointing, situation, we are looking at ways to automate the confirmation process. In the meantime, we can provide confirmation of your delivery time via email or fax, upon request.

I LOVE my sofa i got from the sofa company. the staff was amzing in helping me find exactly the right sofa! i even got to customize the cushion shape and arm height the have a amazing selection of fabrics (i got my sofa in queen) i would totally recommend them to anyone looking for a specific fabric or detail

I went to the SM location and bought a couch on clearance from their warehouse. The next day they call me and tell me that the sofa was sold two weeks ago! I needed the couch for the weekend because I had just moved and had a friend coming from out of town. The owners said if I bought a new couch, they would give me a $100 discount. Big deal. That's the price of shipping. What a scam.

This client did attempt to buy a piece that unfortunately was already sold. What he fails to mention here are the various options we presented to him to rectify the situation. 1. We offered him his choice of any of our other clearance models for the SAME PRICE. He refused. 2. We offered to make the same style sofa, in the same fabric and charge him the clearance price (for a brand new piece!). He refused, because it would take too long. 3. We offered to send him pictures of other clearance pieces that we had yet to load on the website in an attempt to satisfy his needs, but he still refused to take any of those pieces. 4. Finally, we offered to send him a $100 gift card that he could use as he saw fit. He scoffed at this stating that $100 off only covers the cost of shipping and once again refused our offer. At this point, we feel we have more than reasonably tried to rectify the situation and to accommodate this customer.

The Sofa Company is just AWESOME! The styles are on trend with plenty of options to fit your budget. It is totally customizable, and their team is there to help you. The customer service is OUTSTANDING! Angela, Ryan, Hannah & Peter are so friendly and helpful (and patient too-- I had trouble making decisions and they were just great!) My condo has been completely transformed, that I cannot even believe my eyes every time I walk through the door. Thanks Sofa Co. team-- I highly recommend your store and top notch service!!
