JENN STRAND - Not just for grown-ups anymore!

I've read all the reviews for Jenn Strand and have been so impressed. I decided to have Jenn cut my 5-year old daughter's hair. All I can say is -- WOW!*!*!*! I was very worried that my daughter would regret her shorter hair, but Jenn made it look so phenomenal, people can't stop complimenting the haircut. Talk about ego-boosting a little "princess"! People notice her cute little bob everywhere we go, and perfect strangers comment on it all the time. Anyone with a little girl knows how hard it is to maintain hair on younger children. Jenn was able to cut the hair in such a way that it curls under at the ends perfectly everytime. Less fiddling with the hair means less pulling, and a happier kid. It's so low maintenance, but SOOO CUTE. How can you go wrong?! I'd recommend Jenn to anyone who wants fantastic hair, kids and adults alike. Thanks, Jenn! We'll definitely be back to see you!

Go see Jenn Strand!

I love the Verve Lounge, especially stylist Jenn Strand. Finally a hair designer in LA that is down to earth and actually listens to what you want. Jenn takes into consideration my lifestyle, my current hair issues and my hope for an outcome and comes up with great solutions each time. I also send my husband to Jenn and she has worked wonders! We can't live without her!

I also really appreciate Jenn's care for the individual client. I never feel like a number or rushed through, and she has never given a hard sell for product (she will make helpful suggestions, but I've never felt pressured to purchase product like I have at basically every other salon I've been to in LA).

The Verve has a very relaxed and friendly vibe. Everyone there is super nice. It is hip without being snobby and I've always felt comfortable and welcomed there. Go see Jenn Strand - it is definitely worth a try!

Dwayne is the BEST!

Dwayne (the owner of the salon) is by far the best colorist I have been to..and I've been everywhere! He's an artist! The salon is comfortabe and private and clean. I would never go anywhere else

i have been going to verve lounge for about 2 years-every time i go (about every 5 weeks) i leave happy relaxed and well cared for-the whole atmosphere is about relaxing and having dwayne's full attention. He is amazing!!! i drive from malibu but it is well worth the extra time

Great Stylist No Fuss

Dwayne Ross is an expert without all of the fuss of a Beverly Hills stylist. The salon has a comfortable atmosphere, and Dwayne and Tracy couldn't be kinder. If you hate the stress of most high profile salons, and just want to go somewhere to relax and leave looking like a million bucks, go to Verve!

Julius Cheese for ALL your hair style needs!

I have had the pleasure of having Julius Cheese work on my hair for the last few years. I am not rich or famous, but I have had extensions done by a crackhead in Albuquerque, when I could not get to La to have it done. BIG MISTAKE...

Julius takes his time, and you never feel left out or neglected or rushed. My extensions stayed in for 5 months. My hair looked SO natural and like it belonged on my head! I highly recommend this man for any of your hair style needs. I am grateful to have met him, and would travel to wherever he was just to have HIM...work on my hair...Trust, integrity and genuinely all around good guy...

Fantastic Salon in Beverly Hills, for women and hair types.

This is a great find in Beverly Hills. Very tastefully designed space: it's an art gallery as well as hair salon. Julius is great. He does a professional job, he's good with color and relaxers, is very well priced, not to mention he's a riot. You'll have a blast with him. Plus, the girl who manages it makes gorgeous modern jewelry.

Julius and Marisa are the best

I've been going to Julius and Marisa for awhile. I will not go to anyone else, and would follow these two wherever they go. He knows what to do with women's hair; he and Marisa work as a team to make me look good. Verve Salon is this little cottage type place with parking available in the back, every stylist has his/her own space though, so the feeling is very cozy. Julius and Marisa treat you like a queen with water, wine, and great treats.

I would follow this woman ANYWHERE for her FABULOUS cuts & color! ThankGod- she has settled in this warm, inviting VERVE LOUNGE-2 blocks West of ROBERTSON. She gives great ATTENTION & FOCUSES on YOU, the client- rather than talking on the phone all the time -like many Stylists . Not only is she TALENTED and CREATIVE with ALL HAIR, but she also is BRIGHT & AMUSING. I always feel as if I've had a GOOD TIME when I leave the SALON. If she is booked- feel free to trust your look to JULIUS- the One & ONLY.... His pampering & unique designs will leave you wanting MORE VERVE!!!

Marisa Meola at the Verve Lounge is FABULOUS! She is a talented stylist, down to earth, and very funny!!

Marisa is the best color and cut in Beverly Hills! For years I wore the same style, but after a little convincing, Marisa gave me a very sassy modern cut that makes me look years younger. I used to spend way too long in the morning blowdrying and flat ironing, but now my hair requires little effort and looks fabulous all the time! Besides being the best stylist, she is so personable and funny. I used to go to the salon just to get my hair done, but with her It's a total experience! I love how the room is private yet inviting and comfortable. Plus Verve has free meters on Saturday!!! What more could you ask for!!!

• Pros: plenty of parking, great ambience, wine and cheese, cucumber/lemon water, professional!

I had a great experience at Verve Lounge and in particular with services provided by David Calhoun.

I found him to be professional and very personable. I was made to feel pampered and my hair was FABULOUS!!!

David listens to the client. i loved him so much I .began to use him on sets and photo shoots.

I highly reccomend Verve...AND David!!
