Laser Away Skin Care

Since laser Away claims to be "Best in Botox" I went here for my first Botox injections of early last month. I thought it was good but probably not the best. I should have know better but I believed their advertising. The nurse did it as there was no doctor there. I didn't even know nurse could give Botox! She was really pretty. She was also really sweet and spent a lot of time with me as she wasn't busy that day. She said she hasn't seen the medical director in months because he was filming a television show. I would have given my experience 2 stars but the staff was really pushy and tried to sell me products so I averaged my score to 1 star but it really should be 1 and a half stars. I have two small bruises on my forehead and a medium sized bruise in between my eyebrows but they say that's pretty normal when they do Botox. I can cover the bruising with liquid make up from Mac especially now that's it green and yellow. When it was purple a few weeks back it was more difficult to cover. The botox is starting to wear off after five and a half weeks and when I called they said that can be normal for your first time so I'm pretty pleased. I think I'll try going to my regualr dermatologist next time to see if I have have a different experience but for my first Botox shots I think Laser Away is pretty good!

Laser Away is by far the best which is why "inkedeup", "clean bean" and "la native" are all using city search to post negative reviews, they are jealous competitors. Just read their other reviews, "Dr Tattoff" comes highly recommended like SIX TIMES for each user! They are not even trying to be discreet about it! For the record, LaserAway is not going out of business, not even close) but it is a fact Dr Tattoff has not built any new stores since LaserAway has built five. Why? Because LaserAway technology and personal is so superior to Dr Tattoff it is making it impossible to compete on any level. Don't worry, Dr Tattoff, we will not stoop to your level by reviewing your company negatively, we will let our results tell the story! But consumers beware dishonest companies like Dr Tattoff are out there!!! And believe in Karma y'all!

I heard this place was going out of business from a friend but it seems to still be open. I'm always shopping around for cheap Botox and I poked my head in here one day but it was empty. I also called once and they "didn't have any Botox" that day which I thought was weird. Can anyone comment? Just wondering. Thank you.

I've actually heard a lot of bad things about Laser Away since I've been there from other people I know. I had an okay experience I guess, but I don't have any reason to go back since there are a lot of other places where you can get the same thing done for the same price in a better environment (at least that's what I'm finding out as I do more research). Thinking back, the staff didn't seem all that informed on what they were doing. I'm probably going to look into another place to go (I get tattoo removal and hair removal and occasionally some botox, but I only got tattoo removal at Laser Away one time). If this was the only place to go to, I'd probably keep on going, but like I said, this is LA - there's a million other place to get the same things done. Might as well go to one that gives me more confidence in what they're doing next time.

Cons: Staff didn't seem very well informed on the specifics of their services

My friend gave me a coupon for hair removal here so I tried it. It's pretty good. It's not great. There are much better places. I won't go here again because the prices aren't impressive and the nurse seemed rushed for no good reason as the lobby was empty. The one weird thing is that they kept calling me for another appointment. That turned me off I guess. Also the front staff is totally clueless.

Pros: It's fine - no real "pros" per se...

Cons: They kept calling me! Don't give them your real phone number...

I'm a laser hair removal vet. I've had treatments all over LA. So far, Laseraway seems to be the best when it comes to results and pricing. I've had two treatments and have seen better results than all my previous treatments at other spots combined.

You're much better off to save your time and money and go somewhere reputable-- not this pop-up strip-mall place that tries to look swanky.

My first experience with Laser Hair Removal with Brigitte Knight was fast, easy, and virtually painless! She's incredibly patient, lots of fun, and makes the process go very quickly. She helps prepare you, and gives great encouragement, not to mention, the results are phenomenal. The center is very comfortable, nearby (I visted the Westwood Salon), and quiet. The laser approach is faster, easier, and neater than waxing, shaving, or epilating products. I did not have burning, scarring, peeling or even any "after effects" of the treatment. It was as if it didn't happen, but it has been over 1 month, and I cannot believe how a 3 minute treatment has remained so effective! Plus, the prices are incredibly reasonable. I now prefer laser hair removal, and will be using it for everything, and completely chucking my razor & wax forever!

I am amazed by the results.....after only one session I have seen a significan t reduction in hair growth...i must admit that i was a bit skeptical prior to my first session.....the nurse is professional, kind + thorough in her explanation of the process....i would HIGHLY recommend laser away!!!!
