LOVE THIS PLACE! After checking out of another hotel, we decided to give this place a try. Thank god we did. The hotel staff was attentive, knowledgeable and professional. I have stayed at the Ritz and Four seasons throughout the world and have to say that the Pan Pacific staff rates right up with the best of the best. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend the Pan Pacific!

Pros: knowlegable staff, great rooms

Cons: None

beautiful room with the main focus on the bed and the bath. amazing view of the sound. pictures are true representation. wonderful resturant, great service. only complaint, room service is between 6 or seven in the morning til about 11 and you have to have your order filled out before 2am the morning before. would have enjoyed room service in the evenings too. would reccomend it!

Pros: the view, the bathtub, the bed, the price

Cons: little to no room service

interestingly, we were at the pan pacific the same time as the previous poster... checked in on the 20th, out on the 24th... but clearly had a far different experience. the hotel was on par with other boutique hotels we've stayed at (teatro in denver, alexis in san fran) - heavy on the ambience, personal service, and attention to detail. we got in late wednesday night, but still had someone open all the doors for us and bring our luggage up; room service for a late late dinner was surprisingly prompt and quite frankly, a pretty darn good burger from a hotel. we did not partake in the continental breakfast, preferring to find a cafe en route to sightseeing instead, and didn't have a car. our room was cleaned everyday and i never even saw a maid cleaning cart. the bathroom was enormous and we really enjoyed the sliding wood doors. the bathtub was a little cramped with two, but still fancy enough. we also spent time in the bar downstairs with bartender chris who let us hang out into the wee hours of the night playing board games (provided by the hotel, which was a fun touch) and supplied us with coffee, water, and snacks. a quiet hotel, actually never even ran into other guests in the hall or elevator and the staff was friendly and courteous. would definitely stay here again!

Pros: everything was just... well done, very lovely stay

Cons: none! the previous post is befuddling.

I stayed here during its grand opening because it was a pretty good deal, money wise. The room was very clean (probably not used yet), but small (I stayed in the middle priced King bed room). Bathroom was very pretty, loved the tall glass shower & huge showerhead. Plasma television, chaise lounge is nice too. The bed was a bit on firm side, but had very fluffy soft comforter, lots of pillows. Best about this place was the silence! Quiet and cozy inside the room--didn't hear a sound around me or any employees in the halls. And no housekeepers bugging me to get out well before checkout time. Staff was very helpful and wasn't snotty.

Pros: Very helpful staff, quiet room

Cons: Small room

I've stayed at Pan Pacific numerous times and keep discovering something new and nice about this hotel every time I stay. Very comfortable and quiet sleep mostly because of the quality of bed and sheets. I must admit that if I ever get stressed and tired of my daily life and need a getaway – forget about spas, best comfort and rest I’ve ever had was by soaking in Pan Pacific’s huge tub and on their luxurious linen. And have you seen their robes???!!! You will never see or feel anything like that anywhere. Thank you for making my stay! My requests were met and exceeded.
