We dine at Eleven every week, sometimes several times a week, and absolutely love their food! We've followed their chef Sal Prado for two years, he's probably prepared 100 dinners for us in the past two years, not kidding! And now he's doing a great job at Eleven. We've tried most things on the menu, and now (July 2008) they have a New Latin Bar & Lunch Menu full of more great stuff. I'd suggest picking appetizers from the Latin menu, our favorites are: Coconut Shrimp (so yummy!), Chicken Quesadilla (very filling, you could even have it as an entree), Nachos Picante with Beef (also big), or Fish and Chips, which comes with 3 fillets of fish and fries, a lot of food for only $11. Other appetizers we like are Bermuda Rum Shrimp, Macaroni & Queso, and their Cesar Salad is good, too; I have mine with extra anchovies since I like things salty. And I know smoked salmon may be another acquired taste of mine, but if you like that, their Smoked Salmon appetizer is deee-licious! It comes with these little bread squares that have all the crust cut out, so all you have is the soft center of the bread, lightly toasted. You put on some real butter and a slice of smoked salmon, and bite in! It's a perfect combination. As for entrees, our favorites are: Lobster Ravioli (truly to die for! and it's only $17), we ask for it "old style", the chef will know what that means, I don't remember how it's different. It's very creamy and has bits of smoked salmon (here I go again with the salmon!). Chilean Seabass. I generally don't like cooked fish, but here's an exception! Their seabass is so tasty and juicy, and the portion is huge. Even a meat-eater like me can feel satisfied after finishing that. And of course, you can't go wrong with Filet Mignon. As a side to the fish/meat entrees, I highly recommend their Au-Gratin Potatoes. It's a little square of creamy potato heaven! Absolutely delicious, melts in your mouth.

Eleven in the gay area of West Hollywood opened up within the last year or so and became an instant weekend destination. The dining leaves a lot to be desired, so skip it. It was expensive and unmemorable. But come and stay for the bar crowd at night. The club boasts aerial shows on popular nights and last I checked still didn't have a cover charge. The line, of course, grows in reaction. Upstairs is a great lounge, but downstairs is the place to be seen. Step outdoors when you feel the claustrophia setting in -- not a lot of smokers. Grab a table along the wall if you can, and KEEP it for the proper people watching. Overall, I'd say this is a GO.

Pros: The IN place

Cons: Expensive (where isn't in Weho), avoid the restaurant

After waiting for 45 mins for my reservation, the useless hostess asked "are you still interested for a table?" I was told by the useless hostess to grab the table before any one else took it before me. If I would have known this since the beginning I would have done that. It is very unfortunate this place does not know what service is and that they hire brainless people to work for them. To top my night off, my friend order the rib eye med rare. Unfortunately, the rib eye came well done, so he sent it back. 10 mins later they brought back a new york steak and told him that was rib eye.....................we brought this issue to their attention and the so called "mgr" who was partying up with his friends next to our table came and apologized and reassured him the steak he got was the rib eye. Even the waiter agreed with the fact the steak brought to us was a new york steak. I am so sorry for the owner of this place who hires ignorant staff who can not identify a rib eye from a new york steak. Needless to say, I will never visit this place again due to the lack of service and obvious training the entire staff gets.

Pros: Location

Cons: Staff is not very bright

Absolutely agree with Wehoguy's review. Cocktails are the only thing worth paying for at Eleven. The service is laughable and the food is mediocre at best. I was there for dinner recently with 5 friends, and all but one of our orders were incorrect. We all waited a ridiculously long time for our food and one of us did not get a main course at all. No real apology, no free food or dessert to make up for it, but the restaurant graciously offered not to charge us for the food we didn't order. Needless to say we won't be back.

Pros: Decor and location

Cons: Food and service

Went there with a friend saturday afternoon, and had a great time. Service was great and our bartender Susan was awesome!!! We were trying to get away from all the commotion of Mickys and Fiesta Cantina and this was the right place. Great place to sit and enjoy a drink. There is music in the background, but they dont over do it; good enough to still hold a conversation. Great place to come for a drink, and dinner. Would recommend Eleven to anyone.

Pros: bartender, atmosphere, food

Cons: some old people

Ok....I've had dinner and brunch here. The brunch is fantastic and very affordable...one problem...it takes 45 minutes to get your food...but well worth it if you have the time. I went back for dinner and I had the salmon and it was fantastic...in truth some of the best I've ever had...however, it was small and expensive. My friend ordered the pasta and it was the smallest portion of pasta I've ever seen...almost embarrasing. This is a fun place to go with a cute crowd but it's honestly not worth the price and size of the portions. If you go...go for drinks or Sunday for brunch.

Just had dinner there on Sat night. I had heard from friends that the service was iffy, but we had a great experience. Malki, our hostess, is as sweet as she is beautiful and checked in on us throughout the meal. Our server was cute, courteous, and knew when to let us relax and when to check in on us. The food was good, although my friend thought the beets in the salad were undercooked. We had the lamb which was excellent and the rib-eye/short ribs, which were also very good....both recommended by the cute waiter, so when he recommended the chocolate creme brulee for dessert, we had to try it and weren't disappointed. Eleven is a beautiful space and well thought out. We went downstairs for a drink after dinner, but unfortunately the Cirque guys were not performing because the "computer was broken"....oh well. We were entertained by all the beautiful people. My only concern about the place is that it is slightly overpriced for what you get, but for a special occasion or just a date with that special someone...it's a must! I'm so glad that WeHo has an establishment like this and I hope that the community steps up to support it.

Amazing atmosphere, really hot waiters and bartenders (there is one in particular who makes amazing drinks). The DJ's are incredible. AND SO ARE THE CIRQUE DE SOLEIL PERFORMANCES ON THE FRIDAY WE WERE THERE! It is pretty great what they are trying to do...a fine dining restaurant with excellent food (try the duck) and then transform into a nightclub in the evening...welcome boystown's first NYC themed supper club. I do have to say...Eleven is doing something different than the rest of 'em....which should be sought after considering the unfortunate downturn in excitement in the neighborhood. If you are looking to chill out, have a nice dinner, have great drinks check it out during the week. If you are looking to party definitely drop by on the weekend. There will be a line. BUT! At least they keep the place from being shoulder to shoulder...which is a nice change.

Pros: food, drinks, ambiance, performances, upstairs lounge

My friends and I went on the first night of the restaurant opening, so granted, they may have been able to finely tune the service a bit better. Regardless of the servers all being extremely HOT, the actual service was confusing and the food was good. Avoid the mushroom angel hair pasta (too salty), but their bass is wonderful and the pork chops looked amazing. Theres not much for vegetarians, but if anything, its a really beautiful atmosphere to sit and have a drink. Not necessarily the best atmosphere for eating a nice meal with friends while your head is pounding with beats trying to hear your waitor/waitress ask you questions, but good for drinks.
