This place is closed,... Nirvana cafe and bar is a Sri Lankan restaurant,..!!. hope we could have the old Nirvana Indian cuisine back!!... it was awsome when it was running!!..

I frequented Nirvana when it was off Central Park. I was always a fan of the food and was excited to see it come back. The menu had expanded to include other cuisines, but Indian was still the main dish and I found out that it's actually the same chef. The food was still fantastic! My lady and I still had a great meal.
Pros: great new atmosphere

Me and my friends are always in the city going to various restaurants and have become extremely familiar with restaurant owners in the industry. I am here to warn you of this restaurant! This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to in my entire life. I have never been to a restaurant where a child has ordered a meal and never recieved it! I went with family to eat dinner and we asked our waitress about her meal 3 times and never recieved it at all! Yet we were still charged for it, not to mention double and triple charged for other items. The food is barely an Indian cuisine as well. There was suppose to be a special going on for dinner and drinks because of a show they were hosting but it was completely false! The night was an absolute disaster, not to mention we were billed over $200 and ended up at another restaurant after! Trust me, its not worth the disappointment and aggravation.
Pros: None at all
Cons: Everything about it
