great for men and women

This is a great little store. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, offering you a beverage when you come in and even allowing dogs in the store. The selection ranges from comfy tees/jeans to beautiful dresses for women, and from casual to dressed up for men. Lots of great brands like Theory etc.

They also have great sales so you should sign up for their emails on their website. A great little find, right across from Toast.

Stimulating retail shopping...with choice, professionalism, and gratitide.

Terra is the biggest surprise to me in Los Angeles.....They actually have amazing customer service and follow up with thank you notes.....what a concept, reminds me of Bloomingdales's in NY back in the day. Staff is informed, bright, pleasant, and have no attitude. Selections are unique and love what they have to offer. I don't enjoy the grind of shopping for myself, but they make it easy.. I love my jeans, my business shirts and the delightful "off beat" selections they provide. "Who can ask for anything more?" The most refreshing destination for shopping i have found in years.........don't miss out on it! Pricing is comprable to what you would find in those stale chain stores ie: banana republic

Amazing customer service with an eclectic selection & quality merchandise

This is my favorite casual clothing store in Los Angeles.

Other favorites are Bergdorf's and Barney's in NYC...but neither of those two have the remarkable customer service that Terra offers... and its genuine.

I worked retail through my undergraduate at several very fine and well-known stores and Terra raises the standard in Los Angeles for its interesting selection - jeans that make my hot butt look even hotter - t-shirts, fashion accessories and even gifts for your home that are all within a working person's budget - all the while maintaining high quality. And where else can you shop, be offered a beverage and watch reruns of Gidget?

If you want to "enjoy" a shopping experience, need some retail therapy or just want attractive salespeople to treat you with genuine respect - TERRA is a must do - and if once is good - do it again. You will never experience buyer's remorse at this lovely, fun and friendly boutique. Enjoy!

Great service...Terra makes shopping fun!

I'm really not big on writing reviews but I LOVE shopping at Terra. The staff is always welcoming and honest! There is nothing worse than leaving a store/boutique with a purchase that doesn't quite fit or feel right...if you know what I mean. I was looking for the perfect pair of jeans you know the ones which made your butt look great. I stopped by Terra and they all patiently help me through about 10-15+ pairs till I found just the right fit! I don't think I could get my sister to go through that with me! Then they offered to have them altered. How often do you find service like that? Great service, brands, selection and location.

Boutique Shopping At Its Best!!!

Terra stands out from the rest! I think every avid shopper has their "requirements" when it comes to shopping. Terra is a place that makes everyone happy. You know you are in good hands when someone ACTUALLY speaks to you when you walk in... and what is inside? They have a great selection of some of the hottest brands. Everything from Theory to Ted Baker! The denim selection is amazing. They even have shoes, beauty products, candles, and much more! Throw in free parking in the back, complimentary beverages while you shop, and gift wrapping? What more could a girl ask for? Don't brave the hustle of Beverly Center or the stiff staff on Robertson. Terra has it all under one roof. I love this place!

Personal Shoppers & Great Sales

This is my favorite place to buy clothes. Terra's stock is more larger than in many similar stores, and they have great sales. I also feel like Jonathan, the owner, and his staff are my personal fashion consultants. They remember your name, they know what looks good on you, and they stop at nothing to make sure you're happy with your purchases. Plus, they're down the street from Doughboys. Who could ask for more?

funky, cool, hip and unique!

you have to check this place out, they have everything from cool funky jewelry, the latest accessories, hip jeans, dress pants, shoes, all for men and women to babies!!! I was so stressed out looking for dress pants and a birthday gift with limited amount of time but was able to do everything in one shot while being treated like a princess with an izzy drink and was given cute hankies as a gift. the friendliness of the staff, and the extra tlc they give is worth popping in to see what is new in stock. i love the little fun toys and gift wrapping, great unique touch. johnathan and staff are so much fun and it is always a great shopping experience!!!!!

Most enjoyable shopping experience I've had in a long time.

It's not too often I have a truly unique shopping experience. Terra qualifies as a shopping experience because they not only have amazing lines, some I of which I had never seen before, but they also provide top shelf customer service. We enjoyed a cool beverage while their knowledgeable sales staff gave us the background on many of their novelty and trendy clothes and accessories. It's above and beyond 99% of the boutiques I have visited and highly recommend checking it out, especially if you are tired of seeing the same stuff being sold like Big Mac's at McDonalds. Treat yourself to a fashion experience in super cute neighborhood with plenty of great dining options...I recommend Doughboys.

• Cons: Not Cheap, but Not Outrageous Either

Excellent Customer Service and most Personal Shopping Experience EVER!

IF you enjoy boutique style shopping with a good selection of trendy but unique style, then terra is the place. There are a lot of boutiques in LA, but Terra is truly an amazing store because of the service. When you go in, they offer bottled water, spritzers, or even fresh cappuccino from their machine. They spend time with each customer and find whatever they need, and the send you home with a specialized purchase that has a bunch of goodies in the bag. And even though it's a bit pricey, when they are having sale, which seems to happen A LOT, the merchandise is truly affordable. (Especially for the location and different styles). they also have a lot of non-clothing merchandise that is fun and entertaining and would make for great gifts. AMAZING EXPERIENCE and STORE!

• Pros: Special guet parking, customer service, refreshments, SALES!
• Cons: a bit pricey when they aren't having a sale...but they always are
