So very nice
by LAWSTUDENT1 at Citysearch
This is a charming little botique and they were very friendly when I went it. I really wanted a Halloween costume for my cat and they had many in stock. Mr. Grunt weights nearly 24 lbs so we had to use a dog costume but it is adorable!
Clean pet store with lots of goodies

I was so glad to find this store. The owner helped me with the sizing of my dog's harness and offered suggestions for his first flight. I was extremely grateful. I have been back a few times since and always walk out with a new treats for my pup. Plus they carry Innovo EVO which is a natural dog food not found everywhere.
- Pros: They will order things for you if it is not available.
- Cons: None that I can think of.
Great selection, Top quality food, supplements, & toys.

Spot has it all!! I can get top quality food to ensure the longevity of my dog... at the same time I can find the most unique toys for her & her puppy friends.
best for my dog!

my dog loves going to Spot to see michael and lizzie (the owners)! Everyone asks me where I got her beaded african collar (she's a rhodesian ridgeback so the collar matches perfectly!)...I tell 'em "Spot"! My dog had regular stomach problems until Michael recommended "Healthy Kitchen" dog food...In the past year since she's been on the food, she has NEVER had even one bad stomach incident..Thanks Michael! My dog plays regularly with michaels 2 bloodhounds (one of the bloodhounds is a rescue) and loves them! MY wife, daughter and I happily make the drive over the hill to Spot!
- Pros: great selection of unique products and extremely knowledgable on pet health!
- Cons: wish it was closer to me (I'm in the valley)
Owner Needs Classes on Running a professional Business/ Daycare/boyfriend Care
by mutts at Citysearch
I frequented this dog store only to constantly see the owner turn red in the face from lack business etiquette. I had several friends shop there after she advertised a coupon with a discount that she did not honor. I have also witnessed her and her boyfriend make really bad comments about the customers. Mothers be cautious with your daughters and her boyfriend. There are wonderful dog stores from Maxwell Dog, Modern Dog, Doggies Styles and George that are all very chic; that do not run a daycare.
- Pros: Valet Parking
- Cons: Reminds me of a Mom and Pop store, Overpriced compared to other stores, Owner does not own any rescued dogs
hands down - one of the BEST shops for pets ANYWHERE
by lbradorabl at Citysearch
I'll admit it - I ma a bit of a connosieur when it comes to shops for Pets as there is nothing I would not (and have not) purchased for my 2 very spolied dogs.
But mine are full size and many shops in LA are targetted for small breeds.
Enter SPOT - every labrador retrievers definition of perfection
Great toys, collars, beds, treats - the works
And the nicest staff ever
I live in VA but they have won me over and I will be calling in my future orders!!!
- Pros: staff, selection, products, philosophy

In Short
West Hollywood's furry friends are in for a treat at this cheery boutique, stocked with everything a spoiled pet needs. There are tons of bright leashes and collars for the most fashionable four-legged creatures, chic dog and kitty bowls, and even stylish cashmere sweaters for cold-sensitive pooches. Also on hand is a variety of healthy treats and cookies for gourmand pets, as well as natural and holistic remedies.
Excellent selection and helpful and knowledgeable staff

Great selection of food, treats and toys - the vintage items (especially dog bowls) are what truly caught my eye - I love antiques and a unique set of bowls is hard to find!
- Pros: animals most welcome in store - very friendly/helpful staff
- Cons: Can't think of one
Great Full Service Pet Store

I was impressed they have everything your dogs needs from Natural Balance Dog Food, Great Harnesses, and a toy that makes the most unusual noise that my dog loves. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
- Pros: Selection, Staff
Knowledgeable staff

SPOT has a great selection of kitty cat things - for both feline and owner. The snacks recommended by the friendly and very knowledgeable young woman who helped me were first rate. I've never seen such enthusiasm on the part of my friend's cat, Sammie, (who is very fussy). They also have interesting pins and earings for people, so I'll be visiting this store again.
- Pros: Customer service, selection
- Cons: Finding the store on Robertson
