ZEN SPA FOR LIFE

Hands down, Zen Spa is the best spa that I ever went to. The place is really Zen and relaxing. The staff is nice and they have the knowledge of all the treatments, and they can help you out to choose the right treatment for you, unlike the other places that are just trying to sell you something and take your money; I spoke with a lady named Florence (with excellent customer service). She was really helpful and she made sure that I get the right treatment, since I was in a car accident!

I will go back again and I highly recommend the place to others too.

Very Unfortunate

Our family has been going to Zen Spa for the past several years and have always had a positive experience until recently. My wife scheduled a massage for me on Father's Day. I checked in at reception and proceeded to the lounge area where I waited for 45 minutes. I was then told that the receptionist thought I had not shown up for my appointment. (The same one that checked me in!) The Manager was very apologetic and made every effort to make it right and we left somewhat satisfied and understanding.

I called yesterday (Thursday) to schedule another massage and was told that the therapist I requested would be available tomorrow. (Friday) I arrive Friday and am told that my appointment is for Saturday and she must have gotten her days confused.

I'm not sure if this happens to anyone else but our time is too valuable to waste on this type of blunder. It is too bad because we really enjoyed going there. We will probably start using the Spa at the Four Seasons in Westlake Village. Yes it is more expensive, but I can plan my day around it and not be left disappointed.

Best Couples Massage

My husband and I recently had a romantic date night at ZenSpa. We received the couples massage in the couple?s suite and it was really relaxing. My massage therapist was Audrey and my husband?s therapist was Victoria. They both gave us BodyWork massages. It was very romantic and the staff was so sweet. We are going back again. We highly recommend these two massage therapists for BodyWork Massages in the couple?s suite.

• Cons: Difficult to get an appointment on the weekends because they are so busy. Call ahead

Best Organic Facial

ZenSpa uses a line called DNA Skincare that is completely organic. The facial smelled like a garden of flowers and I felt refreshed after. My skin looked much younger and more firm. I absolutely loved the atmosphere at ZenSpa. Very relaxing and soothing. I had a beautiful day. I highly recommed this spa for a spa day when you want to relax and get a very effective facial.

Best Bodywork Massage

ZenSpa is beautiful and very relaxing. I had a bodywork massage - 80 minutes and my back and shoulders feel a lot better. My body feels pain from working on the computer all day, every day of the week. I am extremely picky when it comes to massage and this place has got the best therapists in this area. Give them a chance, I bet you will go back for more.

Superb Bodywork Massage

I tend to end up with stressed muscles quite often. I tried the ZenSpa Bodywork Massage over the holidays and I am a big fan. IF you want a great massage to work out the aches and pains than book a massage or many massages. I received my massage from Audrey but I think most of the therapists are very experienced.

Very relaxing facial, Great couples massage room

My husband and I recently had massages and facials at ZenSpa. We both received the relaxing swedish massage and the classic facial using the DNA Skincare line. Both treatments were very relaxing and I was impressed with the atmosphere. Its also a romantic spa for a couples massage because they have a couples massage room. The room was very special and we loved our time at the spa. I highly recommend getting a couples massage followed by facials for both you and your partner. Love the spa!

Best Massage in Los Angeles

You must try the deep tissue/bodywork massage at ZenSpa. It is not only specific to your muscle pain its also a relaxing experience. I travel internationally for my work and have tried many spas in other countries. Massage is something I take very seriously and ZenSpa can be trusted to give a very good massage. I am very impressed with their therapists and their ability to relieve pain in sore muscles. Like a stated above the spa is a very relaxing experience as well. I recommend it highly for anyone interested in relaxing for a few hours. They also offer a great Abhyanga massage with a Shirodhara treatment.

Great massage in Calabasas

I love this place for the therapists. I have light cronic back pain from working on the computer and the only things that help are yoga and a very good deep tissue massage. I have had this type of consistant minor pain for years because of athletics and computer work. Its very comforting to know that this spa exists and I can count on getting a great deep massage every time. I am not an expert but I know when my back feels better. The ambiance is very relaxing and they have a beautiful boutique for gifts. As an added treat, go on a hike in the Malibu State Park that is just around the corner off of Las Virgenes, prior to the massage. It makes a great day outing for yourself or for you and your friend.

• Cons: Need more showers - only had one large shower
