There are so many wonderful and fabulous things about this place that i hardly know where to begin!! This facility offers chiropractic care, pilates classes and massage therapy - it is definitely the best that i have experienced (on all accounts). I love that it incorporates all facets of healthy wellness living under one roof. I have been in so many severe car accidents that i can safely say i have run the gamut of places all over los angeles and Live Well is exactly what its name professes. Both Dr. Matt Gloin and Dr. Stephen Gavin are AMAZING. They are gentle yet effective, strong but no overwhelming, and take the time to get to know each patient individually. They go above and beyond on all accounts and work with you to develop an individual and unique program that targets your specific needs. The even take insurance - unheard of in todays market. In addition, all masseuses and pilates instructors are fantastic and have devout followings. Dr. Gavin even teaches Pilates classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings! If you are interested in meditation, there is a FREE meditation class every Wednesday night @ 8. I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you find yourself at this mecca of health and healing.

Pros: Convenient Parking - Massages- Pilates - Fantastic Chiropractic treatment!!!!!!

Cons: Nothing that i can think of .... it's all wonderful

I am amazed at how quickly Dr. Gloin was able to help me with my fibromyalgia. I went to three other doctors and my pain was unchanged. Dr. Gloin was friendly and went above and beyond to explain my problem and gave me several options for care. I am thankful that I can use my insurance to cover most of the cost . Plus, I now do pilates classes in the beautiful pilates studio and this is very helpful in keeping my problem under control. Thank you Dr. Gloin and all the Live Well Staff!!!

Pros: Easy parking and scheduling

Dr. Gavin and Dr. Gloin are both master healers. They listen and adjust based on your preferences, not on what might make their wallets fat. They actually want you to feel better! In addition, the atmosphere they've created at Live Well is hip, casual and welcoming. Gorgeous, actually. The staff is amazing. Yvonne and Valencia call to remind you of every appointment and know your name when you arrive. I take pilates there three to four times per week with 3 different instructors. They are all amazing. Each one has their own emphisis which has really helped my body firm up. I can't stop touching myself! They offer massage, too, which I have also been extremely impressed by. What I especially like about this place is the friendly clientelle. I've actually made friends here. The classes (up to 5 people on reformers) are small enough to growl together, laugh beyond the grunt, and encourage each other along the way. Live Well is all in the name.

Pros: care, atmosphere, clientelle

Cons: none

Fantastic service! New to Los Angeles and relied on word-of-mouth from a co-worker as to where to go to get my back checked and to do some pilates. Loved the fact that Dr. Gloin sat down and explained my problem in a way I could understand. It was clear after my visit that pilates was the way to go. I take 2 and sometimes 3 classes a week now. My back feels great and my muscles are getting toned. Fun and knowledgeable instructors. Great vibe and no hassels. Plenty of parking and same day appointment. The best part is my insurance covers most of it!! Check it out.

Pros: Clean, fast, convenient

I injured my back to the point of not being able to move for weeks and I found Dr. Gloin through my insurance carrier. His compassion coupled with his indepth knowledge had me on the road to recovery in half the time I expected! Now I am a regular at Pilates and frequently get massages at LiveWell too. The best part is, is my insurance covers it!!!! If you want to get better... this is the place to go.

Pros: Compassionate, accomidating, hip, quality medical care

Cons: None

I guess I got lucky. I found the info about the office online and got the directions and was off for my appt. Dr Gloin was very helpful in explaining my complaint, he told me how long it would take to resolve and the approximate cost for the care. Following my initial acute care treatment I was feeling better than I have in years. Now that I finally understand why my back has recurrent flare-ups I can take care of it in a more responsible manner. I LOVE the massage therapists....fantastic. I have done some pilates classes and am working on getting the ideal core set of muscles for my spine. The office is a blessing. The genuine concern that everyone has for you is felt the moment you walk in the door. I highly recommend making an appointment.

Pros: Genuine concern for patient, very little waiting time

I found out about Live Well Chiropractic & Pilates and more specifically Dr. Gloin through my office. I took my co-workers advice and am VERY thankful for it. Dr. Gloin sat down with me and answered everything I was concerned about. I got the treatment my body needed to heal my knee pain and he taught me ways to prevent a reoccurrence. So far it has been 6 months since my original problem and I am doing great. My insurance was verified by Dr. Gloin's receptionist over the phone before I made my first appointment and I was seen by him the next day. To my surprise my insurance covers nearly everything, and I only have a $10 co-pay. My husband now also sees Dr. Gloin and he goes to Live Well for pilates 2x/wk which he praises for helping him with his golf and hockey. I highly recommend going to this office because they know how to treat patients right. There is no attitude in this Los Angeles medical office! It was instantly obvious to me that this office has spent the time to learn how to do things right with respect to patient comfort, customer service and follow-up. I know the doctor and the staff genuinely care about me and this is why I will always use them for my health related problems and will continue to send those who I feel they can help.

Pros: Staff amazingly friendly and organized, comfort and good feng-shui

Awesome! Had neck pain for months and was seeing various doctors and no one mentioned chiropractic. I luckily looked into chiropractic for myself and met Dr. Gloin by chance. He is so caring and patient with me and my problems. He explained to me what I had going on and gave me a treatment plan based on my goal of getting rid of my neck problem. He did it....I am now feeling great and I have taken to heart his suggestions for keeping it that way. I do some home stretching when I can, but more often I book myself into a pilates class at his office. It is fun, helful for strengthening my entire body and vibrant. I feel so motivated when I am there and part of this is due to his staff who have a knack for being friendly and observant of people in pain. The receptionist clearly explained my insurance for me and every time I come for a visit I am clear on what my co-pay is and where I stand financially.

Pros: Combination of therapies available, friendly, genuinely conerned about patients well-being

Cons: No Sunday pilates classes yet

I injured my low back and was expecting to go to a typical medical office for treatment. I found the listing and made my appointment. The doctor saw me within a few hours of calling on a Saturday. The office was totally amazing! Staff were very attentive to my being in pain. The office is in a street front Spanish house that looks recently redesigned. My first impression was comfortable, hip/modern and clean. Staff appeared full of energy and very healthy. The doctor has a very whole body apporach to care and on my first visit did an exam, worked on my muscles, did stretching and gave me an adjustment. I was given a home stretches and told to use heat. He called me the next day...again HE CALLED ME THE NEXT DAY to see how I was doing (amazing). They also offer pilates and massage. Once I was out of pain the doctor recommended that I begin strengthening my back via pilates classes. I love the Russian girl instructor, she kicks butt. I was worried that I may not be able to do the exercises in the pilates class, but because it is done on pilates machines I was able to adjust the resistance to make it more or less difficult. I highly recommend this office for both the great treatment from the doctor and staff and the because of the integrated approach to making me better. Lastly, my insurance covered the whole thing and I was given a breakdown of my coverage on my second visit that showed how much I can use the services before I have to pay.

Pros: Parking, ease of making an appointment, short time in waiting room

Cons: I wish I knew about this office sooner
