I keep my money at LAFCU. They also helped me get a great finance rate on my new car loan. I highly recommend LAFCU.
Pros: Lower rates than banks
Cons: Not as many locations as a bank

I joined the credit union because I heard that credit unions have the lowest loan rates. I called them to ask about applying for a home loan. The woman I spoke with was very helpful and explained that when I was ready I could apply for my loan by coming into the branch or on their website. I ended up applying online and it was really fast, easy and I even got a great rate!
Pros: Easy Access, Helpful Staff
