Truly superior pizza, crunchy thin crust, the best toppings, cooked perfectly and priced right. The best Pizza I have ever tasted.

- Cons: Not much
Dumbest hostess in Los Angeles
by lasvegan2
I know this is LA, but what the heck kind of hostess turns away customers in an empty restaurant? 40 minutes before tonight's Laker game, my girlfriend and I went into the restaurant to grab a pie. We and the couple before us were turned away by this half retarded hostess because "I'm not good at this, but people have reservations at 7:00 - the Laker's are playing." Does anyone in this town arrive on time? Is this girl serious? Seriously, if you are going to be that dumb, at least be good looking. Big thumbs down. Try Cube on La Brea or Mozza if you want good pie and good service.
- Pros: Convenient location
- Cons: Inept staff, retarded hostess, OK food
BEST pizza in L.A.!!!
by Vanillaizzle
MUST try Stonefire, in fact, why go anywhere else!!! Really - the best deal is to go during their happy hour as all pizza's are half off. They are super good. Really thin, crispy crust.
Excellent Happy Hour!
by planetshark
Stone Fire Pizza has a terrific happy hour 7 days a week (featuring 1/2 price pizza and beer/wine - plus, on week days from 4-7, the appetizers are also 1/2 price). Just don't expect 'New York style pizza' because these guys are serving up a more eclectic style ... But the food is good and the prices can't be beat. Plus it's just a fun spot to chill w/ friends (with quite a few vegetarian options for all you non-carnivores)
- Pros: Excellent happy hour! ... Good food ... Ice cold draft beer ... Relatively easy parking ...
- Cons: If you're NOT a sport's fan, you might not dig the multiple TV's cranking sports shows
The World's Worst Customer Service
by princesserra
Last night I was entertaining guests from Florida, and after a long day of sightseeing I took them to Stone Fire Pizza for dinner. I figured it'd be the perfect spot since I heard the food was good and we were dressed casually.
We were promptly seated at 9:00 p.m. for dinner, however, our server was nowhere to be found. She finally came by and took our drink order. We were pretty hungry, and so we ordered right away; artichoke appetizer, salad, and 2 pizzas.
Our woodfired pizza came out quickly, as our other deep dish would take 45 minutes. We were fine with that because they forewarned us. The issue started when they brought out an extra woodfired pizza. We told the busboy that he gave us an extra pizza which was not ours...so, he took it away. My fiancee saw our server and she started to attack him that the NY WHITE pizza was ours. He told her we only ordered a margherita and not a NY WHITE and then she pointed at me from a distance and said "SHE ORDERED IT." She then marched over to me and started yelling at me about ordering a NY White pizza. I told her that I knew for a fact that I didn't order it because I absolutely hate NY White style pizzas.
Also, the music is so deafeningly loud in the restaurant I can imagine that she probably just couldn't hear our order properly and made a mistake. I really didn't understand what the big deal was. But she wouldn't let it go and stormed off. This minor issue became huge because after that point we had NO SERVICE. She NEVER came by to refill drinks and she REFUSED to put an order in for dessert because apparently the kitchen was closing early.
What was most offensive is that the server was standing at the next table flirting with a table of 8 guys and completely ignoring us. Anyhow, she completely ruined our night and I'm bummed my guests had an awful time. I will never return to this establishment.
- Pros: Large variety of alcoholic drinks
- Cons: Awful service, long valet line to park, expensive mediocre pizza
So many options! Great Pizza
by foodlova5
I went with some friends and we just made it in time to put our orders in for happy hour. We got three different pizza's and they were all great. I tried the whole wheat crust and really liked it. It was really cheap, in a nice atmosphere and the food was great. I will definitely be back.
- Pros: pizza's and happy hour
Half Priced Pizza and Appetizers During Happy Hour!
by slpdocstu
This place would be a bit pricey for pizza in general, but during happy hour, it's a great steal. And, they have incredible toppings. They give you quite a bit of flexibility in adding and removing items from the pizzas. I had a great goat cheese, tomato, pesto, pepper sausage, and mozzarella pizza (normally $15, but half price during happy hour). They have all sorts of incredible toppings and they pair them together well. I'm not generally a thin crust fan, but the crispy thin crust and healthy toppings mean I don't have to feel so guilty about eating pizza.
- Pros: Happy Hour, Atmosphere
- Cons: Costly when it's not happy hour
Great deal for Happy Hour
by piperfoodie
Went for pizza and beers during Happy hour, when prices are DRASTICALLY discounted. Service was friendly, but not attentive.
Food seemed to use quality ingredients. Very nice bar.
For the Happy Hour prices, you cannot beat this place anywhere in Hollywood.
- Pros: Great Happy Hour, Nice Dining Room. Nice Bar
- Cons: Slow Service, expensive valet
Avoid on game nights
by muzikdude
Unless you're looking for a loud sports bar atmosphere you'll want to avoid this place. Otherwise you'll get average but expensive thin crust pizza served by an apathetic staff.
Best Pizza & Happy Hour In The City Hands Down
by jsmith9494
The pizzas are awesome here. Started out with the chicken skewers and the buffalo chicken calzones. Both were great. We then ordered the prosciutto and arugala pizza, a BBQ chicken pizza and a mushroom pizza. All the pizzas were delicious. They have good draft beer and we had a kick @ss rocky road pizza for dessert. The best part of the meal was that everything was half off because of happy hour. Highly recommend. The service was good too!
- Pros: Food & Service
- Cons: Had to wait ten minutes for my car
