I am happy to be back at my old health club, Spectrum Club. I had left for a newer club, but my kids hated it. They did not have fun, particularly my older son. At the request of my kids, I came back. secretIy, I am happy to be back at this club. When I park the van, my kids race me to the door to see their friends and the staff. It may sound silly, but my workouts are better knowing that my kids are having fun and enjoying their time, while I am taking a class or with my trainer.

Pros: fun for my kids, great classes and trainers

Cons: no complaints

I've been a member of several clubs over the past 10 years. My current is Spectrum in Rolling Hills ranks at top of my list. A prime reason is the quality and sheer variety of classes. The list is endless-Yoga,Pilates, Boot Camp, Cycling, myriad varieties of dance (Nia, Jazz, Belly, Latin)), Tai Chi, Step, and many other choices. The teachers are warm yet drill seargents in disguise. They push you more than you can ever push yourself!

I really love this club. It caters to all types, families and people just looking for a nice club to get a workout. I just move here and I checked out all of the other gyms and could not find another one with the service, amenities and overall atmosphere you get at Spectrum. My advice, get the all club membership and check out the awesome clubs in the South Bay. Great Boot Camp class too.

Pros: Atmosphere, location, service, classes, kid's club

I'm always looking for excercise classes that push the envelope. The Boot Camp class at the Spectrum Club in Rolling Hills, fills that bill. The energy is manic, the action non-stop. Plus the instructors keep varying the format, so it never gets old. It's one hour of sweat and super-exertion. Love it!! Wow!

As a long time member, I really appreciate the atmosphere of the Spectrum Club in Rolling Hills. It's not a a "seen and be seen" club. Everything is casual. The staff is very friendly, helpful but not too obtrusive. The members are considerate, not pushy. It totally works as a community club.

Six months ago, I joined Spectrum Club, Rolling Hills, mostly for their yoga classes. At first, I thought Spectrum's monthly dues were a little high. Then I did the math - the cost of the 10 classes a month I took at various yoga studios. Spectrum turned out to be a bargain - plus, I get all the other club amenities.

Pros: Variety of classes

As a woman in her 40's, I was through with the gym scene, especially bouncing around in aerobic calsses. Then a friend introduced me to the Nia classes at Spectrum Club in Rolling Hills. Now I'm hooked. The classes are all about movement & expression, without any complicated steps. I never thought excercising for one hour could be so much fun!

Pros: Classes

Cons: They are getting sooooo popular! (I wanted it to be my secret!)

I've been a member of Spectrum Club, Rolling Hills, for several years. I try to work out 2-3 times a week. Sometimes, though, I just enjoy the "executive workout" - steam, sauna, shower. It's a treat, self-pampering that comes in so handy on a tough day.

Pros: Ambience & Service

Just stopped by the Kids Center to see the latest activity scheduled for my 4 yr old (they always have awsome ones!) only to find a full schedule of activities tailored for the kids while they are on school break! Amazing, you can come to the gym work-out and instead of feeling like your child might just be sitting there glued to the latest animation DVD, they are instead engaged in a fun -physical activity. I mean they have a full petting zoo coming full with lames and rabits and such! Gotta love it!

Pros: Kids Center

Cons: Can't get your child to come home and you have to book your Birthday Party reservation way in advance to get a spot because they get booked fast!

I belonged to Spectrum a year ago, but when a new club came on the Hill I was sawayed away by all the glimmer. Let me tell you I lived to regret it. Spectrum is more of a cozy, neighborhood health club. The staff there makes you feel like you just walked in to Disney land , all the way from the trainers, to the managers to the class instructors. The sales people there actually speak to you long after you sign up. They take the time to greet you each time you come in and ask you how your workouts are going. Until I came to Spectrum I had not met a sales person I liked! The club is clean and the best part is that they have a cleaning crew all day! I have now re-joined Spectrum and let me tell you, boy am I glad I did! I actually get what I'm promised and don't have to wonder if my need are going to be met.

Pros: Parking, Instructors, variety of classes
