Great MEDI-spa

I've been going to Kate Somerville for quite some time now and I love what it does for my skin-I always leave the spa glowing! However, the staff can be rude like the esthetician I got stuck with today. I was told to have a "prep" with an esthetician because they do extractions, so i went as far as to change my whole schedule around just to be there when an esthetician was available and what does she do? she gets up after 7 minutes of "prep" and says she cannot do my extractions because she will be late to her next 15 minute facial prep! and I got there on time mind you.
I usually have great experiences at Kate's spa and my favorite estheticians for facials include Lily and Danika. Just hope you don't ever get stuck with Kelly!
I had the pleasure of meeting Kate Somerville in person and she was wonderful! It's nice to see the CEO of such a successful company be so down to earth!
- Pros: best place for skin HEALTH!
- Cons: Parking, rude staff, and cancelation policy

The BEST place for your face

I've lived in Los Angeles for almost 2 years and never had such a quintessentially LA experience as I did when I went to Kate Somerville's Melrose Place boutique for a facial yesterday.
I felt and my skin agrees that I was recieving the best possible service(s) available. My technician reccommended the DermaLucent Red facial, in leiu of the signature facial I was booked for and I am so glad she did. It made such an immediate difference to the apperance of my skin. I have every confidence that your technician could be trusted to make the best possible reccomendations for your skin type.
The decor is amazing and the reception desk is warm and attentive. You truly feel as though you are spoiling yourself when you walk through the door. The prices however are not out of line with any other spas in LA. If you join the skin gym program it makes for great value.

- Cons: Paparrazi littered entrance
