Good bike shop!
by andyshef at Citysearch
I go in there at least once a month to see Eric, the owner and talk with him about the newest bikes and racing.
They help you out even if you bought your bike elsewhere.
If seen them doing minor repairs for free. I bought my Intense Tracer there and I love it.
- Pros: The owner races, so he knows his stuff
- Cons: What are the drawbacks?
Good service department, sweet bikes!
by Jerryb29 at Citysearch
Full of good bikes, great deals and suuuuper friendly people. The only down side is that it can be very crowdy on summer weekends. The best is that they can order almost anything for you within a couple of days and their prices are very reasonable. Say hi to Frank, the best mechanic in town!
- Pros: good service, sweet bikes
- Cons: crowdy on summer week ends
Rip Off Beware!
by zumabrrls24 at Citysearch
I recently went in to the Santa Monica location for a routine brake job on my front brake. Half an hour later i am told and shown that neither brakes work or are fixable. Immediately after one of the "owners" tries to sell me brakes for "the best price." The prices he gave me were almost $200 more than most online bike mail orders, so I tell them I will hold off. Just then, the mechanic says "...uh let me try something I saw on the internet." All of the sudden the brakes work again WOW! I am out $40 for the mechanic time and my bike is exactly how it was when I brought it in. I ended up fixing the problem myself. I was referred to this shop by a few friends whom I have all told never to come here again. These guys are ridiculous, will act like your friend and will rip you off. My guess is that they are used to wealthy people coming in and spending anything no questions asked. I would not recommend this shop to anyone!
- Pros: Nice Shop
- Cons: Will Rip you off! Way overpriced
Drove all the way from East Hollywood to buy from these guys

I was referred to this place by a co-worker and I was looking for a quality bike at a good price. Eric from Bike Attack was very helpful in giving me information and wasn't pushy in trying to sell me something right away. I went to 5 other stores and decided to go back to Eric at Bike Attack because of his honesty and the great prices.
Eric, if you're reading this, Salamat Pare! Love the new KHS TC-150.
- Pros: Eric is the bombeezy
- Cons: I wish it was closer to where I live
good guys, good bikes, good service
by rickcraven at Citysearch
I go to Bike Attack since they opened their smaller store in Venice 1999. They always treat me as a friend rather than a customer. The guys at Bike Attack love bikes, everybody there (even the owners) ride bikes and are part of several racing teams. They don't try to sell you something you don't need- or you can't afford. Their free lifetime service is the best service plan any bike shop offers and it is real.
- Pros: free lifetime service, 2 locations, parking in rear
Good, Solid Bike Shop!

My wife Gloria and I have made the journey from the San Fernando Valley into Santa Monica just to come to Bike Attack, and it's worth driving past all our local bike shops to get there. We've recieved good advice, quality service, and feel we've gotten our money's worth and more.
This isn't a deep discount shop -- so if you're a deal-weenie, go somewhere else and take your chances -- but the stuff they have is very good quality, and the advice they have given us has turned out to be very sound every time.
The shop is small, but packed to the gills with great stuff!
Well worth checking out!
Best bike shop on the westside of Los Angeles
by bikefox666 at Citysearch
I bought 2 bikes at Bike Attack beacuse my friends told me to go there and I did not regret it. They have the best selection of bikes and their service is the best. I tell everybody to go there and nowhere else to buy a bike. They have another loacation in Venice beach on the same street, which is their original location, but a lot smaller.
- Pros: Parking in rear
Don't go anywhere else!

Bike Attack is by far the best bike shop in Los Angeles ? BAR NONE. Erickson, the owner, built my bike from scratch. He?s awesome to work with and his crew is top notch. I used to go to Helen?s Cycles, but was sick of the impersonal service and lack of knowledge about their product. At Bike Attack you?re treated like one of the family.
- Pros: Service & Good Product
Great bike shop!!

These guys are really cool, they fixed my bike on the spot when I could tell they were really busy. Nice people, high end bikes, and a killer attitude.
Favorite Bike Shop!
by fboston at Citysearch
This is my favorite bike shop with the best selection of bikes. The mechanics and the owners all ride and they won't try to sell you something pricey if you don't really need it. Their free life time service keeps me coming back!
- Pros: Wide selection, good prices, free life time service!
- Cons: Haven't found one yet!
