best holistic doctor

Dr. Miles Reid has been my primary care doctor for over 10 years, and I can honestly say that I am in much better health now than I ever have been.

He has been able to heal chronic sciatic and neck/shoulder issues I thought I was just stuck with, as well as many other conditions over the years. What I also like is that he has been educated in both western and eastern medicine, and uses the knowledge from both. Each visit, he is very thorough in finding out all the details, then giving a very comprehensive and effective treatment. And the additional bonus is that instead of just fixing whatever is wrong at the moment, the treatments actually make you stronger and healthier overall.

I highly recommend Dr. Reid for healing any health issues you might have!

Dr Miles Reid is a wonderful doctor with talent, knowledge, great skills and sheer integrity on both the professional and personal level. Dr Reid has been my primary care provider since 1999 and I have found each consultation completely satisfactory in every sense: that is to say, both in the immediate results obtained for the specific theme at hand and also in the creation of a more long term ?umbrella? of well-being and health. Prior to consulting him I had no experience with acupuncture treatments and I have found Dr Reid?s treatments very efficient, providing relief for my medical issues at all times. The treatments, indications and suggestions I have received from Dr Reid have given me a sounder and fuller understanding of well-being and health and how to participate actively in the creation of well being and healing processes.

Dr. Reid is a fantastic doctor and an even better person. As a chiropractor, I have had the pleasure of "sharing" patients with Dr. Reid. He is professional, intelligent, and fun to work with. He has helped my patients achieve a higher level of health and vitality.

Amazing knowledge of herbs, accupuncture and medicine

Dr. Reid is a unique, compassionate and amazingly knowledgeable and caring doctor who delivers results. I visited him after having my daughter, complaining of a lack of energy and weak immune system. His treatment noticeably increased my energy and I haven't gotten nearly as many colds. I also took my two year old to see him and he gave her some herbs and showed me how to massage some pressure points on her arms and legs...and she hasn't been sick once since then.

If you need results and demand the best, then Dr. Reid is your only choice.

Best healer of mind and body

Dr. Reid is unlike any other Dr. I've encountered. He listens with his entire being and tailors treatment to address the root cause of disease and illness. I started seeing him four years ago, after I was misdiagnosed with pancreatic cancer. In laying the foundation for treatment, he said that I needed to look at my body parts as akin to a body of Nations. Cancer is one Nation proclaiming to the others, that all resources and energies are to be marshalled to further its own selfish existence. Sound familiar - makes you kinda wonder no? His guidance, treatment and sharing have served to broaden my idea of overall health. I believe myself to be healthier now at 54, than I've ever been. My monthly treatments with Dr. Reid are "tune ups" that further me along the path towards discovery, attention and full awareness. I have a body, Dr. Reid has helped me live through it with an awareness that keeps disease in check.

This man took my pain away.

I went to Dr. Reid having heard great things about both him and acupunture, but I was sort of skeptical. I am no skeptic any longer. The doctor helped relieve chronic pain that I had suffered in my left knee for several years (having hurt it during a soccer game). His knowledge of the human body is most impressive-- I never would have believed that my knee could be helped without surgery, but I'm able to move around now like I haven't been able to in years.

Straight to LA LA Land

As a massage therapist, I refer patients to Miles professionally and use him personally, all the time. I have been doing this for years. I send him patients with all kind of ailments such as chronic pain, migraines, addictions, asthma/allerigies, carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ dystunction and pain associated with car accidents plus a whole lot more. Miles takes a comprehensive approach to his patients' healthcare because of his background both as an MD and an acupuncturist/ chinese herbalist. And, even if nothing ails you... for a surefire trip straight to LA LA land that will set your head right with the world, then call and schedule a treatment now. You don't know what your missing!!

I personally have not have the pleasure of being a patient, but I know 5 people who have gone who have all been thrilled with his treatment. He has done some great work with Chinese acupuncture treatments. I cannot wait until I have a chance to go see him myself.

Best Acupunture and Herbal Medicine Doctor in LA

Miles Reid is a very special healthcare provider and healer. I'm a very busy and active professional and for the past three years I've seen Dr. Reid primarily to assist me in staying focused, calm, and balanced. It has done me a world of good! Over the past 20 years, I've seen several of the best acupuncturists in LA. In my book, Dr. Reid is the best of the best.

Before becoming involved in Chinese medicine, Dr. Reid was an internal medicine specialist, so he brings east and west together in his practice. He is very insightful, caring, and spends a lot of time with his patients, more so than any doctor I've encountered. I have referred several of my friends and associates to him and they all rave about him.

If you have issues such as headaches, allergies, insomnia, depression, chronic fatigue, stress, stomach aches or your are constantly getting sick, I highly recommend you give Dr. Reid a try. He can address health issues in ways that traditional western doctors can't. He deals with the source, not just the symptoms.

Highly recommended and fully trustworthy to visit.

I came to see Dr. Reid regarding my menstrual irregularities as well as a bad flu at the time. It was amazing the change and feeling of well being that came to surface in my life after several treatments of acupuncture. Each time I felt I was being given the tools to learn more about the roots of my discomforts and pain. The gentleness, patience and direct knowledge that Dr. Reid has instantly translated into a new form of healing that I hadn't experienced before. In my opinion you are at the hands of a true healer. Not only did I become aware of my own body and the different cycles that encompass my menstrual period, but how my body functions as a woman. The greatest healing came however when I began to see him and a Feldenkrais expert in the same clinic for my lower back sciatica pain. This one I had decided I was going to live with the pain for the rest of my life, I would wake up leaning over to one side in the morning and that was normal for me, the last doctor I saw recommended surgery for a replacement of discs with no guarantee of complete healing. So I decided that I would rather live with the pain than surgery. All that thinking changed when I began Acupuncture treatments and continued practicing the Feldenkrais method. I no longer take large dosis of antiinflamatory pills, or spends thousands of dollars on temporary relief for my lower back pain. I can say that I feel so flexible and comfortable with my body after so many years of pain that I regularly see Dr. Reid for acupuncture treatments for general well being. On a different note, his office is located within beautiful garden grounds, running pond with fishes and turtles that add to this healing environment. Parking is plentiful and accessible! Highly recommended!!
