Typical mayonaise joint
by korndog
We had high hopes for this place after reading a couple of reviews but were disappointed. The fish selection was basic truck delivered with nothing special or Japanese. The chef we had was relatively unskilled. I was advised that the O-Toro was very good and received it drenched it Ponzu to cover up the off odors. Rolls were ok if you like heavy sauce. Prices were reasonable. This was not our type of joint at all.
Rising Southern California sushi chain serves up stylish fish and cooked Japanese dishes.

In Short
This bright, cozy spot combines hip Asian touches with sleek style in dark tones and minimalist decor. West Valley locals gather casually amid the staff's warm hospitality for California-style Japanese cuisine. Artful specials include tropical seared tuna skewers, fried king prawns, hamachi ceviche, snow crab salad, Hawaiian roll, chicken katsu, and bento, sushi and sashimi combos.
